Put a deposit down today for the new pool, set to be installed in the next few weeks. Getting a jump on a few items before then, to make sure we don’t cause any delay to their timeline. Initially we were hoping to get it in early enough to hydroseed the entire regraded and messed up areas. We are leaning towards just laying sod in some of the more immediate spaces to allow the dogs access to the rest of the yard for the rest of fall and winter while keeping a temporary fence around the remaining mess. We’d follow up with seed in the spring. Our largest issue remaining is the access to the dig site. We have large trees in the front of the property, along with some other obsticles. We have three options: Get permission from the neighboring property owner to enter our yard from theirs, using about 20’ of grass on their side. 2) Significantly trim one of trees (take off half of one side) 3) allow driveway access (20 year old asphalt). Anyone ever have experience with large construction vehicles over your driveway? I am trying to avoid it at all cost. Our driveway is 125’ and in great condition so really not interested in risking potential repair.

What's the deal with Mighty Taco these days?
EmotionallyUnstable replied to BillsPride12's topic in Off the Wall
Moving from Rochester to Buffalo nearly 20 years ago, I was constantly told about Mighty. Never got the hype. Now a days, I do not eat fast food but in a pinch, it would be one of the last places I’d seek out -

You’d think at this point in his career, he’d just let it rip. No point in playing tentative now -

Local companies are offering discounts for an end of season install. Looking at the following: 18x36 vinyl in ground, salt system and electric heat pump. Figuring out the patio, fencing and additional expenses such as regrading/hydroseeding. It’s all a lot to process. Sprayed the pool shape and potential patio onto the lawn and love the flow and set up with existing deck and grill space. Just trying to figure out if I can swallow writing the check.

Good Night / Bad Night - Pre-season game 2
EmotionallyUnstable replied to GunnerBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
I agree on the 1st and 2nd round game changers. 2nd round has been especially rough. That said, you can’t ding him for a Bishop injury and QB play that makes in really difficult to get a fair look at Coleman. Like with all drafts, time will tell. -

If Groot can turn up, eppy stays consistent, miller returns to form and Solomon can add some rush…I’d feel way better about our pass rush -

This is gross. Disappointed we don’t get to see Kincaid/coleman/shakir connection to Allen. Glad he has no chance at injury though -
When is it time for QB under Josh’s wings?
EmotionallyUnstable replied to JROC INTEL's topic in The Stadium Wall
Seems easy enough to throw one of the countless 5-7 rounders Beane loves to acquire for a project QB in the next few years. Even if they don’t make the active roster year one, might be nice to have an in house guy on the PS waiting to develop into a #2. -
I think this can be a good thing when used at the right time to create leverage. There are so many nuances to route running that take time to learn, specifically how to gain separation at the top of the route. He’ll never be a guy that just flat out wins with speed from the LOS ala Tyrek Hill or Ja’Marr Chase….so it’s a good thing he seems to take comfort in playing in phase.
