Today I learned...Part 3

They were also one of the few prisons to offer warm showers. This was meant to keep inmates from acclimating to the cold water in the event they were to escape and swim the Bay -

It may not be a big deal. But if I were a coach, I'd want all my players there. Especially new player as imprortant as Beckham to work with our second year QB -

How do you predict the rushing carries will be split? Gore had more carries that McCoy last year. Do you think that happens this year? If McCoy if the focal point of their rushing game, then no, they didn't get any better at RB this year. I get your argument man. I said three times not, the post was just for arguement's sake. If I had to pick, this would be it because I don't see where else it could be

If I had to choose a position, yes, this would be it. McCoy is a year older. Regardless of how we THINK he may bounce back, the truth remains he had his worst year ever. The front office and McD remain firmly behind Shady. So my perspective is that he'll receive a majority of the work in the backfield. So he is not a upgrade in any way to his previous form. Yeldon is not going to be a major factor at all. He will be fighting for touches. There are only so many to go around. Between McCoy (who will see majority), Gore and the rookie, he may not even be active on some games. Singletary, as previously mentioned, is a 3rd round rookie. He is far from a sure thing. As of this moment he is no better or worse than any RB on the team this year, or last. I can't say he is an upgrade if he's never played a snap of meaningful NFL ball. Again the question here remains, will he be active each game? Gore is the strength of your argument here. He is a HOF player, but he no doubt offers little upside aside from short yardage, pass pro and a veteran presence. I don't see him as a major impact player, no more statistically relevant than Ivory or Mike Tolbert the year before him. It all comes down to McCoy exceeding his production last year. He IS the running back position. So until they can prove he is better than last year, or they find a successful way to replace him, I don't see it as upgraded. They're old, injury prone, one dimensional or inexperienced. P.s. yes, I know I'm being harsh and critical. Like I said earlier, I don't think they're any worse off I was just making an argument for why I don't think they're necessarily more talented at RB

Happy Birthday Josh Allen

I've always wondered about this terminology: What is the appropriate age gap to be able to call someone 'kid?' Is there a line that borders disrespect depending on the age difference? Is there a maximum age you can use to refer to someone as 'kid'? Is it purely an age-based reference or is there any regard to merit or experience? How does one perceive being referred to as a 'kid?' Would you take this as a compliment? An insult? A reference to your abilities, experience or competence? These are the things that keep me up at night. -
Annual reminder to all: anyone’s perspective from outside of the Bills organization, their opinions and their comments, mean absolutely nothing. Don’t let your hunger for football allow you to buy into anything the media spews. Everybody looks good in shorts (Dez Lewis says hello). See you in August

Idky I wasted my time putting on NFLN. Kyler Murray is the only rookie drafted apparently. Oh, except the two pass rushers taken in the top 10 (apparently there were only two). Lotta love for Josh Allen (Jags) and Quinten Williams (Jets). However the 2nd and 4th overall players and pass rusher, along with the once thought of top-defensive player in the draft (EO), have not been mentioned in the time I’ve watched. Not surprised at all. Mostly just disappointed in myself that I wasted that hour of my life where I could have been doing literally anything else instead of watching predictably boring and unintelligent media coverage. WHY ARE THEY TALKING ABOUT CARSON WENTZ AT ROOKIE MINI CAMP...smh

I will gladly show my disappointment or excitement at their pick. I greatly disliked the Josh Allen pick last year, but now love the player/person. I'm not paid to be right. I do it for fun since this is, in fact, a Bills forum, not the official player welcoming committee. -
What are your plans for watching the draft?

I'm off all week! ? Normally I'd have to work Friday, so usually I'll make it through the first half of the first round and then track the rest on my phone from bed. Going big this year though! Since I don't have to make it to work on Friday, I'll probably watch the first half and track the rest on my phone from bed.
