Thaddeus Moss...hah -
That’s be really disappointing to me, considering I liked the Saints and picked them to win the NFC and now I’ll have to change that.

never said it was easy. But be practical. this is what he was selected to do. Win the big games when it counts. You can make all the excuses you can conjure up: WR talent, play calling, age, opponent, OL play, etc. At the end of the day, he left multiple plays on the table, including the potentially game-tying touchdown. Like I said before, these are the games he needs to start winning in order to be considered the long-term answer and future at QB

my logic has nothing to do with draft position and everything to do with execution when it counts, regardless of where a team acquired their guy. My point was that the front office and team deliberately chose this player to win games like this, and if he doesn’t start doing it, then it’s a let down. I voted 60% chance, FWIW

Josh Allen - week SIXTEEN report card

I think you’re being to generous here. The film will likely show (IMO) that Allen missed 2-4 big throws. Those are the difference makers. -
Steelers game - Positive Vibes Only thread

This game is looking good for us. Their offense is missing their best WR. James Connor is not in the top 5 of rushing attacks the bills have faces and shut down so far this year. Duck is not going to fair well vs this defense. offensively, if they hit one of those deep shots early, it will open up the whole offense. Daboll, don’t be afraid to get the ball to the sideline and stretch the field horizontally -
Jumpin in late here but I had to vent: I’ve been a McD critic since day one, and I’ve been happily eating crow so far this year. Yet, one of my remaining criticisms has been that his sideline demeanor drives me nuts. It always bugged me that I seemed to be more passionate and fired up at certain times than the head coach. Obviously lots of ppl value is calm nature and positive approach to coaching, but I LOVED seeing that fire. I hope to see more of it. I think the guys rally around it when used appropriately. Being of such a general calm nature makes these blow ups even more meaningful to the guys. Way to go, McD

The Dang Sump Pump
EmotionallyUnstable replied to EmotionallyUnstable's topic in Off the Wall Archives
Ideally, we’re looking at a water pressure back up but aren’t in the financial position right now to make that happen. jealous of those with a finished basement. If we end up staying in this property long term, the basement must be done! (But want to make sure we’ve taken the proper steps to eradicate and water issues first) -
So I’ve been having an annoying issue with my sump pump. We live in a super saturated area in WNY. Our house has had all sorts of waterproofing done on both the exterior and interior, and it is pretty well taken care of. We’ve been in the house almost 3 years and have totally revamped the water drainage systems. Between the French drains, the sump pump and the exterior rerouting of downspouts from gutters for run-off, it is constantly dry and in good shape. Over the last few days, we’ve had a tremendous amount of water flow into the sump and it is triggering often (every 5-15 minutes). I’m planning to replace the check valve on the discharge line to be sure the water isn’t leaking back in and being recycled around. I just don’t think that’s the cause. I bailed out almost 100 gallons of water of the past few days to try and see if it’s new or recycled flow and water is still trickling in. The flow is not heavy, but it is constant, almost reminiscent of a small leak. I checked the meter at the supply line, and there is a rate of 0.0 GPM when nothing is running, so there doesn’t appear to be an interior leak in any piping. I can’t stop fixating on this, as I’m concerned their is an exterior underground leak that may be causing issues with the foundation (we’ve had trouble in the past). It’s possible that it is just steady melt from the snow, as the sewer lines on the street have a constant flow in them, but it just seems too regular for that. I’ll check with my neighbors to see if they’re having similar issues with drainage. I’ll keep you all posted, as I know you’ll be waiting eagerly for an update. Anyone have similar issues/concerns?
