  1. Doesn't he struggle in coverage? Maybe my memory alludes me but I only see McD want OLBs that can hang with backs and TEs How many times will be get caught up in preseason hype? Everyone looks good on paper in August. OH MY GOOD WATKINS WOODS HARVIN MCCOY CLAY WE ARE UNSTOPPABLE We've been down this road before allowing ourselves to over-value our roster
  2. Why the 1 year? Wouldn't you think they'd hope to look past one year? Are they unsure of his long term ability but want to see a full season/off-season? Possibly they weren't offering the long term.cash he was looking for so opted to take the prove it deal? Just curious how they didn't end up with more term on this deal.
  3. I always wear my PJs inside out on a snow storms' eve in solidarity with snow days
  4. My bad. As you may know, I have a few screws loose
  5. Because we aren't drafting pentathletes. I want a proven football player. I get the injuries, lack of targets etc. I just want a player who has extensive film that can come in an immediately, will little doubt, improve this football team. Maybe he'll be a great WR and maybe he'll flop out. But is that a risk, at #9 overall, the Bills are in a position to take? I highly doubt it.
  6. I'm sure he can catch. That's not what makes this funny to me. How many times will we see a player transition to another position as if it will instantly make them a better football player? Take Logan Thomas: QB transitioned to TE, what, two years into his career. How is that going? As other posters have mentioned, these experiments (I.e Manhertz) almost always fair. To think a player at 25 years old can drop the position from which they were DRAFTED IN THE SECOND ROUND to be a NFL caliber player at a different position is insane. He will likely be a 6th tackle, just with an elidgable number. This isn't exactly switching from corner to safety.
  7. To me, it entirely depends on what degree you pursue. Law, medicine and other more prestigious curriculums carry more weight from these schools than state schools or your local college while you are applying for a secondary degrees or internships. Othe degrees (take education or communications) probably don’t make much of a difference since your jobs are generally earned by your work experience and performance, not your degree. FWIW, I have a Bachelors and Masters from SUNY schools. I may not know as much as someone from Harvard, or have all the fancy connections, but I wouldn't trade my experience and I feel that I go shot for shot with anyone in my field despite their Alma mater.
  8. Wrong move, imo. It’s similar to pulling Tyrod two years ago. He wasn’t the greatest and pulling him didn’t make the rest of the offense suddenly wake up and play at a better level. This is to me feels like a scapegoat or a cop out. I’d rather see him at a time out, settle his guys and reconfigure his lines. Then again, maybe that’s common practice in hockey idk
  9. Phil pulls Hutton as if those goals were solely on bad tending of the net? Idts. Aren’t you a defensive guru?! Yet your guys are constantly turning the puck over in zone and out of position
  10. I read every work email (skim or just open some) and never delete them.
  11. Does anyone use SabresSpace? As someone new to nhl fandom, looking for a suitable outlet
  12. Tonight’s games: buff vs leafs...need to take the 2 pts. Canadiens vs. NJ....A Montreal loss tonight would move the Sabres within 5 points. Tomorrow’s games to watch: Columbus plays Pitt tomorrow so I’m not sure who we want to win that game since they are 7 and 6 points ahead of us respectively. Carolina plays LA...the hurricanes are currently 6 up on us. I’d think this info would leak first, no? My guess is he will field questions about the trade, deadline, etc
  13. This show has fallen off over the past few seasons. I’ve been in it from episode one back when my college buddies and I would look forward to Sunday evenings with TWD and too much beer. Part of the excitement for me was that it was about surviving the apocalypse and the walkers. Now that has been maneuvered and spent, it just doesn’t have the same excitement factor as it once had (Herschel’s Farm, the prison). As related to this latest time jump (six years, correct?) I am also disappointed by the development of the communities. They should be much more well defended and prepared.
  14. A number of schools closing tomorrow including Amherst, Sweet Home and Williamsville
  15. I enjoy some of the musical performances and root for some of the actors/actresses and movies that I’ve seen/liked. The Academy, or whatever the hell it is, doesn’t make any sense to me. Popular movies don’t necessarily win best picture, the most captivating actor doesn’t always will best performance. It’s a weird game. I voted yes because my wife and I have it on while I do some work in the background. He, and that movie, were extremely entertaining
  16. So why did the Ducks dump Montour? Was as it the deal or something about him as a player/person?
  17. Winds in Amherst are kickin
  18. Upwards of 70mph gusts early morning morning. Hold on to your hot dogs
  19. Kinda agree here. I want some fire from this team. They need an identity, might as well be “ass-kickers”
  20. Can’t help but wonder how the injury impacts Skinner’s future. Honestly surprised they didn’t go after the guy who tripped him. Maybe thy didn’t see it or find it to be dirty. Either way, I like a team that will throw down for their best player when he is in pain on the ice after an apparent trip.
  21. Not specifically you, but I can’t help if I’m 5 years posters will be saying, “Another Bean Gem” sarcastically. Miller was by far not Whaley’s worst pick.
