He would have had to take a major reduction in income, and he apparently wanted to be closer to home, as you suggest

It may have something to do with the fact they drafted a 1st round DE, and two 2nd Rd DEs, and Beane STILL wanted to get better up front. So what do you do? You sign the best pass rusher in football for 20 million dollars. Hughes is making 5 mil this year. With an investment like that in Miller, there was no chance they’re going to keep Hughes around. There isn’t any room at the position and not enough coin or assets left to invest in that spot

Valid question, although it may be a flawed one. “Better” in what regard? Is he playing more snaps? Is he being asked to do the same roles he was in BUF. Come to think of it, I haven’t seen him drop in coverage tonight as he has for years on occasion with the Bills. I don’t have the answer to those questions but I’m not going to be blind to other factors and assume an inflated sack total means he is playing better football. I’m not interested in having that conversation or figuring it out. Instead, I’ll just choose to respect his body of work over a decade in this city and with the team. And if you can’t get a hard on, they make a pill for that

In college a decade ago, a buddy of mine and I decided to watch it after a long night out with lots of drinks. We caught it being replayed on some cable television station, commercials and all. I watched about an hour, fell asleep on the couch for an hour and a half, woke up and there was still another two hours left in the movie! Longest movie ever. Or most commercials. Idk but def thoroughly enjoyed the classic Mexican standoff scene.
