I watched his entire special last night, and it was funnier that the funniest of stand-up comedy specials, including Cosby's Himself and Eddie Murphy's Delirious.

I heard an NFL talking head make a similar comment this past weekend about Mayfield being raised by a rookie head coach who is clearly over his head. Could wreck Mayfield for years.

Let's be honest... OJ was one of the most electrifying football players the world had ever seen at that time. He was the first running back to reach 2000 yards in a single, shortened season. He later went on to show his personality chops with his Avis commercials. Then he moved into TV and big screen dramas like The Towering Inferno, Roots and Capricorn One. Soon after, he had us laughing with his stint in The Naked Gun series as the lovable character Nordberg. After all that, the dude has ONE BAD DAY and everyone gives him schitt.

I don't think he's afraid to think for himself. I think he's just incapable of it. Like Tibs and Qtip. Some people are just not smart enough to think for themselves...or what the rest of us call the Democrat's base.

They remain the part of this event that still messes me up. It's still impossible for me to imagine, for any measured amount of time, what those people were seeing that made jumping their best option. It had to be just horrifying. I remember a documentary that was showing live footage from ground floor inside the buildings -- and you could hear these loud thuds outside the building. The person speaking noted that everyone was confused about what was making the noises until they looked outside and realized people were jumping. Yet, today we're supposed to be okay with "some people did some things." This country has really managed to schitt the bed in 18 short years. I suspect, in time, the left will change history textbooks to explain how Bush and Trump were flying the planes.

What remains to be seen is just how bad the Jets OL is. It's not often I watch the Bills playing a team that was consistently crushed on anything resembling 3rd and long. There was maybe a time or two where Darnold hit the hot read on the blitz, but most every other time they rushed, Darnold was swallowed almost immediately. Is the BIlls D that good or is the Jets OL that bad? I suspect it's both, but time will tell. Either way, it won't matter for the Fish. They are the hottest of white hot messes.

Especially when he only had to pay $1M for cheating.

That's kind of ridiculous because if the Bills were down 19 instead of 16, they would have approached the playbook differently. That's not to say they would have been successful. It's just saying that if you are going to introduce a "Yeah, but..." into the equation, than ALL "Yeah, buts..." have to be accounted for, which is a ridiculously stupid way to look at games in the first place. "Yeah, but...if Dalton doesn't throw that TD on fourth down last year..." "Yeah, but...if Clay only hauls in that TD pass last year...": I'm convinced people who live with the "Yeah, buts..." just need to be unhappy all the time. Not to mention, how do you know a competent kicker makes that field goal? I'm watching competent kickers miss easy stuff all the time these days.

While I annually go for a deal, the exception is when the deal I got the previous year was outstanding. Last year I got a killer deal, paying nothing for Ticket and all the trimmings, and getting other rebates I never expected. So this year I choose to just let it pass...until Thursday Night Football, when I find out the regionalFox affiliate is in dispute and I can't get TNF or SNF. We'll see what happens when I call today, but I've been with them for 25 years and I plan on straying from my usual nice-guy script and going batschittQtip on them.

While it's way to early to know for sure, it seemed to me the Pats* weren't that good so much as the Steelers were that bad. Do they even have a running back?

And they play the Jets next Monday night. Gonna be a LOT of fun watching that game
