  1. That receiver can’t catch that ball, but they catch some improbable garbage one against us?
  2. these refs were overall just terrible. I had never seen this crew before, and so I suspect they are like a newer or novice crew. they couldn’t even get the down and distance and clock right. They ran a full play before realizing that they never spotted the ball right after a prior penalty. So, the blowing a quick whistle on that fumble was par for the course.
  3. Pumping the breaks? I am stepping on the gas! Time to get excited about this team!
  4. I can’t believe I am saying this, but Tyrell Dodson looked really Good today too.
  5. For what we ask Taron to do, can Rasul do it? Taron basically plays LB for us.
  6. How about Ty Johnson? where has he been all my life?!
  7. you are right about Cleveland. My wife’s uncle in Hungarian and they live out on Cleveland. We have been to all kinds of Hungarian halls for receptions and have eaten some great Hungarian food.
  8. We absolutely have to have Taron back for Philly.
  9. If you have ever actually caught a ball, then you would know it is a catch.
  10. We really need to look at it? Just play.
  11. Agree. bad penalties does not equal “having fun.” Dawkins and Phillips and Oliver all with unnecessary penalties today.
  12. with this eagle eye ref crew who can’t even move the chains?! Oh yeah— they saw it!
  13. I have never seen this ref crew before. They seem like a real novice group. you at least let that play out.
  14. it helps when the players execute. That RAC by Shakir was the most RAC we have had in the last decade. Guys catching balls; guys finishing sacks. Everyone should be thrilled!
  15. same here. My bad!
  16. This is the longest half ever.
  17. haha— just said the exact same thing.
  18. Took a fake punt, multiple penalties, multiple injuries, and the ambulance for them to score 6.
  19. was about to say the same thing. How about some easy runs and maybe a slant or two. Get a first few downs here.
  20. FG is fine. That’s how you beat the jets. We win this with our defense and ST, and let their offense make mistakes.
  21. that game sort of proved my original point. Despite their poor talent and coaching on the offense side, they are in every game down to the last play. Just a weird team.
  22. exactly right. I also appreciate the dig at Staley, who I thought was overrated from Day 1. The guy was barely a position coach and then took credit for Fangio’s scheme, and somehow ends up being heralded as some young genius. He should have been coaching linebackers in LA for the last 5 years.
  23. they also lead the league with 18 takeaways, which often lead to scores. They also are top-5 in defensive negative plays and top-5 in red zone defensive efficiency. don’t get me wrong— talent and scheme wise, they should be like 2-7 right now. They just amazingly win all these games. And their schedule gets easier now. It’s nuts.
  24. what if this is the mean? the difference is tomlin: “Mike Tomlin finds a way in these muck-and-grind affairs. Somehow, the Steelers have won a franchise-record eight consecutive one-score games. They have won 95 one-score games since Tomlin became coach in 2007, more than any team in the NFL, according to a graphic on the CBS telecast.” https://www.post-gazette.com/sports/joe-starkey/2023/11/12/matt-canada-patrick-peterson-elandon-roberts-mike-tomlin-packers-afc-north-standings/stories/202311070166#
