  1. Nope. You need to be an admin.
  2. Didn't stojan get reamed for making this exact same comment last year (I think it was Survivor or some other reality show, though)?
  3. In this software, I do not remember seeing anything that will allow you to get rid of post count for members. You can, however, stop the post count from increasing. There is a setting for each forum: If you set this to NO, then post counts never increase for members. I do not think that there is a way to disable view counts. Maybe with custom skins? You will need to ask SDS about the custom skins.
  4. Noble effort, but inpractical. Hell, even the rules that are set in stone (TOS) are ignored, there is no way that unwritten rules will be followed. People want to see their post count go up. They want people to pay attention to them. Neither of which makes the discussions better. As mentioned previously, people start new threads (on already existing topics) in order to draw attention to themselves. This is either to voice their opinion on the same topic or they are in such a hurry to try to be first to post something that they overlap each other. Then there is the laziness factor (RMPL). The only way to slow this down is for the mods to constantly merge threads. Repeated offenders will be warned, then additional sanctions after that. That will whip people into shape, but it will add work for the mods (which means it will not happen). Dan Gross put it best in one of his posts: quantity does not equal quality. It is one thing to have a little fun. It is another to flood the board with the same crap over and over again.
  5. You're just not happy that you were called on your hypocrisy. Now, you are trying to spin your way out of it. Nice try, but it didn't work. Keep going though. If you can deflect things enough, maybe people will forget about it. Right?
  6. Point out where the Republicans are in favor of 4 year olds buying grenades, as stated in your post. Holy Hell!! Tax Cuts!!! How dare the government cut taxes!! You are against Republicans using fear-mongering, but yet you use fear mongering in your post (4 year olds buying grenades sound familiar?). That is called hypocrisy.
  7. I thought Eryn posted them above (post #3). I did not click on the link so I do not know.
  8. Shhh...you are not allowed to point out his hypocrisy. You will hurt his delicate feelings.
  9. Instead of addressing the substance of a post, you just twist yourself in a pretzel to say "yeah, Dems do it, but Republicans are worse." What factual assertion did I not address? I said I didn't read any of the books you mentioned and I wouldn't waste my time reading any of them. Is this too difficult of a concept for you to understand? Do I need....to....type....slower....for....you? I also addressed the substance of the thread, which was that Coulter's comments were "highly irresponsible and potentially dangerous." Again, do....I....need....to....type....slower....for....you....to....understand....what....I....am....writing? I also commented that the rest of your comments were just flat out stupid and did nothing to address the substance of the original post. I thought I didn't really need to dwell on that aspect, because it is pretty typical of your posts lately. As far as the lawyer comment, stop being such a kitty. Whaaaaa....whaaaaa...the big bad moderator is picking on me. I can just see you in the courtroom: Mickey: Judge, the other lawyer is picking on me. <sniff> Make him stop. Judge: No. Mickey: <sniff> But he is hurting my feelings. <sniff> Judge: No Mickey: <sniff> He is not allowed to point out my hypocrisy and show the flaws in my arguments. <sniff> Grow a pair. You just do not like it that you are being called on the fact that you are being dishonest here. I know you can't help yourself. You are a shill for the DNC, especially Hillary. If you don't like being called out for it, then maybe you need to look at what you post.
  10. With the crowd around here, you might want to rephrase this sentence.
  11. Yup. Press hard and keep it there for at least 5 minutes. That will prevent the bruising.
  12. It is always nice to have goals in life. Dare to dream, Mock...Dare to dream...
  13. Not enough pressure for a long enough amount of time when the needle was removed. That is what causes bruising. For example, my veins are deep. If I do not have strong, constant pressure for an extended period of time after giving blood, I will bruise. Having strong, constant pressure for an extended period of time will prevent the bruising. You need to allow for the bleeding to stop. Just quickly putting a Band-Aid on the incision point will not stop it. You need to stop it down by the vein, not on the skin level.
  14. I haven't wasted my time reading any of the books you mentioned. As far as the difference between my opinions and Coulters, I guess you missed the part where I called her comments "highly irresponsible and potentially dangerous." Of course, I would not expect you to actually be honest here. You are a lawyer and you are trained to be dishonest. You have just taken to using it on this board as well. It is really sad.
  15. You can always count on Mickey to provide the "Yeah, Dems may do it, but Republicans are worse" shtick. It just never gets old and you are so predictable. Now he is trying to rely on "well, Libs were doing something else first before they became whackjobs, whereas Republicans were not." Even better was the comment about how Rush or Hannity could not do anything else besides what they are doing now, where Libs do not have that problem. Damn. You are really reaching. It was embarassing before, but it is down-right laughable now. Coutler is a freak, just like Randi Rhodes. Both say irresponsible things to try to draw attention to themselves. Rhodes just does not get the same media play for making the same types of comments. Why is that, Mick? Unlike you, I will actually comdemn Coulter for making these remarks. It is not going to take a multitude of posts before I do it (unlike you), I am doing it with my first post. Her comments were highly irresponsible and potentially dangerous. They are not just stupid remarks, they are dangerous. It is too bad that you are incapable of doing the same thing with people on the left, but that would require you to actually <gasp> blast someone on the left. I won't hold my breath for you to do that. I know that you are incapable. You will just find ways of defending or muting their actions and follow it with "Dems may do it, but Republicans are worse."
  16. Oh...the irony...
  17. I am waiting for the "yeah...Dems may do it, but Republicans are worse" response.
  18. My yellow fizzy water tastes too watery.
  19. You stole that from Darin, didn't you?
  20. Settle this the old-fashioned way: no-holds barred cage match. BTW, is that Sam Adams Utopias in your avatar?
  21. You guys are amateurs. First, let's address Mickeyania: 1) As OGTEleven stated, chalk washes off in the rain. You will be re-drawing your borders too often. 2) I see no stipulation that the lingerie models need to be HOT lingerie models in order to receive tax-free status. The last thing you need is to attract Rosanne Barr-type "models" to Mickeyania. 3) Nice job with the non-agression pact with JoeSixPackylvania. He is a loose cannon and needs to be contained. On to JoeSixPackylvania: Free beer on Fridays? What kind of taxes are you going to need to impliment that? No thanks. I will take the lower taxes and brew it myself. We can work out a deal, however. I would be more than willing to enter into a contract to be the exclusive supplier of beer to JoeSixPackylvania in exchange for tax-free status, no goverment intervention into my business and unlimited "interns" to help with my brewery. Of course, I have complete control over the interview process for said "interns" and retain all rights to hire/fire the "interns."
  22. Dude, this is not an ESL* class, this is a written medium. If you want to have a discussion about something, try expressing it in: 1) The native language of said written medium (in this case: English) 2) In some sort of coherent manner 3) When asked for clarification of the aforementioned discussion, don't run away and hide behind "well, since you do not understand my idiotic post, you are just trying to avoid the question." Several times by multiple posters, you were asked to clarify your statement and you refused. Since I am in a good mood, I have decided to give you a little advice. Get someone who can help you find some words, put them in the proper order (bonus points if you spell them correctly) to form some semblance of a coherent sentence. Then come back here. Until then, you are wasting everyone's time. *English as a Second Language (ESL). I figured I needed to translate that for you.
  23. I got stuff to do. Let me know if he figures out what the hell he is saying and can express it in some language we can all understand.
  24. If nobody could understand it the first time, how is repeating it word for word going to clear things up? Try stating it in English. Damn dude. Use your $@&*ing brain.
  25. Since you seem to be a little slow, I asked you for a clarification of your question since it made no sense. I am sorry this concept is too difficult for you to understand. This is not the first time someone has asked you for a clarification of your question and you refuse to answer. Did you forget what your question was or are you still trying to figure out what your question is?
