  1. If they didn't spend so much time on one sport, then it would appeal to more people. Winter Olympics is about figure skating and summer is about gymnastics. Focus on more sports an you would have a larger appeal. I do not care about seeing it live. Why the hell should games be played at 7am in Korea just so Americans can watch it live in primetime? Now that they are in Italy, they would have to play the games at 2am just so Americans can see the event at 8PM EST. Get over it.
  2. Here is a thought...I know it is crazy...but how about allowing me to keep my money and letting me choose how it is to be spent? I know, I am talking crazy here, but hear me out. If the government stopped trying to be all things to everyone, perhaps they could actually focus on what is Constitutionally mandated. Leave the rest up to the private sector, which has proven time and time again that they can more efficiently handle the job. What you are saying, is that people are incapable of taking care of themselves and it is the responsibility of government to take care of people. Of course, I imagine you are one of the first people to complain about the recent NSA wiretapping of American citizens. Why? The government is just doing its job in protecting you. How about the Patriot Act? The government is just trying to protect you. WMD's in Iraq? The government is just trying to protect you from an attack with them from Iraq or from a terrorist organization willing to purchase them from Iraq. How did that whole Katrina thingy work out for you? Talk about efficiency. Of course, private corporations and charitable organizations were there within 24 hours and the government was still sitting on their arses, but let's still let the government handle everything. If things are not working, just spend more taxpayer money. That solves everything. Big Government = RJ
  3. If the government does not fund a specific disease I have (or my wife has or my family has), so be it. It is not the government's responsibility to do that. It is up to the private sector to do that. People decide how and where their money is spent. Limiting profits has never been a good thing. Sorry, but I cannot contribute to the "well, the government already wastes a #@*&load of money, why not waste more" philosophy.
  4. You are trading away knows for unknowns. Unknown how long Favre will last (2-year commitments mean nothing.) Unknown how the White would perform (assuming you even get him and he is not taken by someone else). You know what you are getting from McGahee. Why trade that away on an unknown?
  5. Still dancing, I see. Trying to deflect, yet again. It is not going to work. You just cannot do it, can you? You talk about racism and how prevalent it is, but when there is an opportunity to specifically call out a politician who made a racist comment, you hide behind veil statements to avoid specifically criticizing Hillary. Funny, if it were a Republican making that exact same statement, you would have no trouble calling them out by name. Hypocrite.
  6. How do you know he will be Cadillac Williams and not Curtis Enis?
  7. Ooooh...Oooh...Government handouts. What do I win?
  8. Nobody is forcing the radical left to be here. You can leave any time.
  9. I will make it easy for you. State the following: I hold Hillary to the same standards that I hold Republicans. Hillary made a racist comment and has no business being in any sort of leadership position.
  10. Since those two are the only offical interviews outside of April, you are really going out on a limb.
  11. You said, "the Democrats have a leadership problem." How does that address the question of you condemning Hillary for a racist comment? Keep dancing. This is getting more comical by the minute.
  12. But...but...but...Dems do it, BUT REPUBLICANS ARE WORSE. Seeing him twist himself into a pretzel to try to come up with a way to turn the argument is laughable.
  13. Whaaaaa. Whaaaaaa. The big, bad moderator is picking on me. Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaa. You have really turned into a joke. Whaaaaaa.
  14. It's gonna take more than Favre and Moulds to get the first pick. You will need to package Evans with them if you want Houston's pick. Of course, that screws up the trade with SF, so you will need to add Moorman and Lindell to replace Evans. Brilliant!! Get 'er done, Marv!!
  15. Sorry. We are going to get Jackson to plug into the line next to a guy who will probably be gone. Clements should be pretty cheap. Add Bentley from the Saints (should also be pretty cheap) and one more O-Line person, and we are playoff-bound. Did I mention Abraham? Where do I buy my Super Bowl tickets?
  16. Let me see if I get this straight. You want to trade our starting running back for a quarterback at the end of his career (who could possibly retire within the next couple of weeks). You then will plug in a running back with no pro experience as our starter. So, we now have a rookie running back and an old quarterback, thereby leaving a question mark at running back and the need to look for another quarterback to replace Favre in a year (or sooner). Nope. Cannot possibly see a problem with this scenario. Brilliant!!
  17. You are so cute when you cannot come up with a good response. Keep trying. Do you need Letterman's "researchers" to help you out?
  18. "Democrats do it too (I am only saying this to make it appear that I am not as partisan as I really am), BUT REPUBLICANS ARE WORSE."
  19. Hey. Don't rule out Lou Saban. My sources are soooooo incredibly deep inside that they are they are out the back door and into the parking lot say that Ralph likes Lou's youth and experience.
  20. No. Someone had it in Rich's thread: Magic 8-Ball.
  21. Mickey has been having a tough couple of weeks with his arguments.
  22. Just because Soprano 3695 is deep-throating someone in the Bills organization, does not mean that the info is not credible.
  23. No. It needs to be at least the janitor's wife's bank teller's brother-in-law's bookie's accountant's baggage handler. Sorry, your source is not credible.
  24. But, are your sources from "deep inside" the organization?
