I was wondering that myself. Thorpe played against the Buffalo teams, but never for any Buffalo team. They also were not the Bills back then, but that is just a minor technicality.

Politics is great, isn't it? The people who you need to reform the system do not want to get involved. If you find someone who wants to get involved, they can't because of the biased election laws, specifically written to restrict anyone from outside the "Big Two" from having a chance.

It is just like any other major issue (Social Security, Medicare, etc). If you solve the problem, you take away campaign issues. It is much better to allow the problem to exist than to fix it.

Here is a thought. How about the doctors having their own pharmacy in their office? If they want to prescribe the medication, they need to supply the medication. It solves the problem of the government forcing businesses to cut their profit margins in order to carry items that they do not want to carry. It also eliminates one entity (the doctors) forcing their morality on another entity (businesses).

You mean, the guy who hates when posters get personal with him is getting personal with other posters? I think there is a term for that...I can't rememb....oh, wait...hypocrite. That is it. As far as the first part of this paragraph, it is typical dishonesty from the Mickster. Nothing suprising. Pretty soon he will be blaming the right-wingers for him losing his argument.

They were the first people I contacted after announcing my candidacy in 2004. They get a decent amount of traffic and give you a good opportunity to check out all of the candidates. I received a lot of feedback from people as a result of that site, which resulted in votes. It also looks like they have added additional information on the candidates (interest group ratings, etc).
