Democrats can say anything and should be immune from criticism. You have to remember the usual rubber-stamp response from Mickey. It is pretty much the same in every post: "Democrats do it too (I am only saying this to make it appear that I am not as partisan as I really am), BUT REPUBLICANS ARE WORSE." I am suprised, however, that he didn't twist himself into a pretzel trying to defend Hillary.

They are Democrats. They are allowed to say racist things.

While your "police state" comment is a little over the top, you are correct in your assessment of the restrictive laws. The first thing to do is NOT vote for all the people creating these laws. Vote for the people who have proven to be committed to protecting our civil liberties. Then, hold those elected officials accountable for their actions. I have regular contact with my representatives. They recognize me at public events and we are on a first name basis. They know that if they screw up, they will have to listen to me bitching. They know that I follow what they do and how they vote. Believe me, it does have an impact.

It would be interesting to see how this percentage compares with "racially motivated criminal incidents" in other countries who say that the U.S. has a high percentage of "racially motivated criminal incidents." Also, these stats do not mention repeat offenders, as you stated in your post? I highly doubt that all of these crimes are perpetrated by unique individuals, which would mean that your 0.0071% number is too high.
