  1. We are used to seeing Mickey being dishonest. We come to expect it from him.
  2. Yup. Storm King On a personal LAMP note, I won second place for my American Amber Ale in the War of the Worts Homebrew competition. Lost by a point. Overall, it was a good day. 322 entries overall, with 9 in my category. Since I was a steward, I got to taste all of the good stuff.
  3. You are suprised that Mickey is being a hypocrite? You need to visit more. This is typical for him.
  4. Happy Birthday, Big Guy!!
  5. I was thinking Darin, but that works as well.
  6. ...and you know that lawyers are lining up for those lawsuits.
  7. I don't waste my time with Bills Digest anymore and have let my subscription lapse. It did nothing for me. Even Shout towards the end lost what it had, IMO. I can get all of my Bills news and analysis online. I always enjoy reading a newspaper, but since Bills Digest is all that is out there and it sucks, then I am forced to get everything online.
  8. You forget. Only conservatives are forbidden from telling jokes.
  9. Looks like Brokeback Mickey is back with his fascination with balls (not that there is anything wrong with that).
  10. That is the combo I use in my Amber. It works very well. It would not be a problem for me to take my Amber and bump it up to an IPA. Increase the hops, add more aroma hops and increase the OG and it is pretty close to an IPA. I thought that there was some Amarillo in there, but I was not sure on the Warrior. Not yet. That is one I want to try. Victory is about an hour away. I will have to stop by sometime to try it. The Hop Devil seemed a little dry to me. Is it the same with Hop Wallop?
  11. We will have to arrange something when Kristy feels better. If we still have the golf outing with the midget this summer, we can go to Victory Brewing. I do not know how their food is, but you will not be disappointed with the beer.
  12. Had a good time at the homebrew club meeting last night. My Trippel was a hit. We also had a barley wine, wheat wine and someone brought in a bottle of Rodenbach. Not bad for a sour. The owner of the LHBS we met at brought out a bottle of Victory's V12. If you have never tried this, you need to go out and find a bottle. Then we went down to Iron Hill brewery to drop off the entries for the War of the Worts tomorrow (314 entries as of last night). The brewmaster was there and brought out a growler of Russian Imperial Stout (yet to be released to the public). It was a blend with a bourbon barrel. I finished off the night with a pint of their Kryptonite IIPA. You would have liked it. 9%abv and 129 IBU's!!!. The brewmaster said that he used all the "C's" for bittering: Centennial, Cascade and Chinook (he seemed to be missing a few C's). He also dry hopped with Amarillo and Centennial and used a crap-load of malt to give it some backbone so that you would not burn off all of your tongue (just part of it).
  13. It's been a while since I listened to the broadcast. It is possible.
  14. I know that they used Simcoe in that, but do they also use Warrior or is that just your interpretation? I need to do an IPA or IIPA soon. I may start with Victory's Hop Devil as a basis, but "tweek" it. Centennial and Cascade seem to go real well together, which is what is in Hop Devil. I am also a fan of Magnum and Willamette together. Hmmm...
  15. It will be found at the links in my thread. Listening to the radio broadcast of that game (which is where I generated the play-by play stats), was very interesting wrt the block by Maguire. Both Byrd and Maguire commented in post-game interviews about it as well.
  16. Interesting...
  17. On another note, you can visit http://www.billsbackers.com/122665.htm for more information on that game.
  18. Why, thank you. Most of the stuff will be moving to other locations (Rochester Jeffersons and Western New York Professional Foorball Researchers Association). Both sites are currently undergoing re-design and will be launched with a lot of new stuff. The second site will be a repository for all football history research for Western New York. The first will, obviously, only focus on WNY's first NFL Franchise: The Rochester Jeffersons.
  19. Cheney did that? I thought it was the aliens. They are all around us, you know.
  20. It's not Tom. The IP addresses are different.
  21. Old Ale is conditioning, Trippel is in secondary, Blonde up next, followed by a refinement of my Amber. How about you?
  22. Thanks, bastard. Now that you are mentioning Victory, I am craving Hop Devil. Unfortunately, the place near the office only has Flying Fish IPA. Not as good, IMO, but it will do in a pinch.
  23. We'll just call him Brokeback Mickey from now on.
