  1. His “don’t let it dominate you” comments were hilarious.
  2. This is all accurate, but unfortunately DR did not manage the board shift well. Instead of just putting people on ignore once they proved themselves unworthy of discussion, he lowered his own discourse as shown by @SDS above. DR is not a guy who has historically addressed people that way, but he let his frustrations get the better of him. So I don’t know what else Scott could have done, and I’m sorry he’s had to devote so much attention here recently.
  3. Seriously??? NE wins that game w/ Newton. Defense was terrific and they had something like 180 yards on the ground. The Bills will have a huge challenge in a few weeks.
  4. Never ever has a fantasy loss been so satisfying. Suck it hard Edelman, you douchebag.
  5. I need less than 3 more points from the Chiefs D! A 12 minute KC drive would be great!
  6. I can’t believe NE called a play that required him to stand in the pocket for more than two seconds. He’s like bad college QB that you tell “if the primary receiver isn’t open, throw it away immediately”
  7. ...at least since yesterday when the same thing happened to the Bills.
  8. Ironically, Belichick can’t believe such a b.s. call would go in favor of the star QB.
  9. I think technically we're Little Eichmanns.
  10. Can we please get a tearful JJ Watt interview?
  11. Uhhhhhh........maybe we worry about finishing ahead of the team that's won the AFCE for the last 37 years before we start worrying about home field advantage in the AFCC.
  12. Yes, #27 was the key defender on the play. He was cheating inside, looking for a hole to stuff rather than attacking off the edge which would not help on a straight ahead run. Once he realizes McKenzie has the ball, he's flat-footed and hopelessly beat on the edge.
  13. The Jets ownership must be very thankful that their incompetence has been mostly overshadowed for many years by the even worse ownership by the Dolans (Knicks) and Wilpons (Mets).
  14. They'd both stink. Josh would be floundering under Gase and a terrible organization. Darnold would have some pieces around him but wouldn't be able to make it happen clutch time.
  15. Seems like the Titans forfeiting a game or two until they are all cleared would make sense.
  16. I thought I saw him grimace as if in pain after the second catch. I didn't notice how many more snaps he was in after that play.
  17. The 3 big defensive plays in the second half really turned it around. Great individual efforts: -Norman forced fumble/recovery -Oliver 4th and 1 stop -Jefferson forced fumble/recovery
  18. Those two and the 4th and 1 stop were the big game changing plays.
  19. Allen Diggs Beasley Milano Norman Jefferson Zay Jones (big drop) Pass protection
  20. Another fun, stressful, roller coaster performance. I really wish we didn’t need to recover an onside kick every week to close out a game…..but it’s another win. Josh was very solid again, BUT, taking a huge sack and costing your team what would have been a near-game clinching FG attempt HAS to stop. He seemed to be playing with a little hesitation at certain points after the injury, a little quicker to go to the check-down. But still made the throws he had to when called on and continues to show great command of the offense. Diggs deep catch was the play of the day. He and Singletary were the stars. Give OL credit for solid pass protection. Defense: A near panic inducing performance for a large portion of the game, but then they turned it on, generated pressure on Carr and created 3 turnovers (first one gifted back to LV) Bills now -2 for the season on turnover ratio against the officials. Need to clean that up. Kicking/punting: ugly PAT miss. Bad job on punts. Playcalling: Very good again, they moved the ball consistently. 4-0!!!!
  21. Thanks for the explanation SDS. I understand posters' frustrations as this board has successfully self regulated for lo these many years, and now there seems to be a small cohort who runs to a mod every time the argument gets heated. So that's disappointing. That said, DR choose to engage those people, and choose to not avoid trouble despite the warnings, so he bears that responsibility. Those remaining should use this opportunity to realize that being too proud to use the ignore function when needed is not a winning strategy.
  22. Me too....Chubb's injury and Dak's huge game have put me in a dogfight against a usual doormat.
