  1. I expect Taylor to be a back-up next year. Or he's holding a job for half a season til a rookie is ready. I think Denver is the most likely landing spot for him and the best spot if he wants to start. Not sure of the contract but I think Alex Smith will be in Jacksonville ahead of Tyrod.
  2. Taylor isn't going to change. The two QB's playing today were mirror images of each other. Neither will lose a game with their stat line. Watch them and you want better. The thing with wanting to be better is that it's hard for either franchise to take a step back in order to take two steps forward.
  3. I think he'll go to somewhere to start for a year while a rookie gets ready. Which was his best case scenario for next season in Buffalo.
  4. The starting QB threw for 56 yards. He targeted Tolbert and Chris Dimarco as much as the #1 and #2 WR. Blame the OL or the D but the QB doesn't let the WR make any plays.
  5. I think they can do better. Tyrod is playing the same way he's played in his previous two seasons. The defense is playing lights out and scoring points and they're getting enough from the offense. I think it'd be hard to move on from Taylor if they make the playoffs. Most likely scenario to me is they end up with a guy who is more of a project like Josh Allen, not sure if that's a good thing.
  6. They're terrible at WR. I think QB, WR, and either a TE or another WR in the first 6 picks.
  7. I'm not sure they've got a WR who deserves to be on an NFL roster. Matthews when healthy is ok but after that they're terrible. Zay Jones looks to have the football sense of T.J. Graham. I'm not a Taylor fan and would've rather seen him gone but he's got no chance with this group. He's been the same QB he was his previous two years. If they're moving on from him in the offseason and investing a 1st rd pick or more into a young guy they also need to use 2 of their top 4 picks on WR's.
  8. My point is offensive line is a riskier pick than QB, and all picks are risky. If this franchise wants to draft scared than they can top out a 9 wins.
  9. Isn't that for every position? Look at all the tackles like Greg Robinson who've been colossal busts.
  10. A Bronco's "insider," or what not was on GR this week and said the Bills had a deal in place for Siemian if they were to get Romo. I hate that idea more than I hated the idea of bringing Taylor back.
  11. I'd prefer to go QB and WR twice with the Bills first three picks. Having this group of WR is a disaster for most QB's,
  12. Andre Holmes is a 4th or 5th wr on a good team. Matthews is a free agent. So they've got Jones and nothing.
  13. The Bills are still stuck playing 1950's football. Even teams with a QB like Brian Hoyer are throwing the ball around. Tyrod isn't good enough but I'd say Hoyer isn't either. If the plan is to draft a QB early and I hope it is, they've gotta look to go WR at least twice in the first 3 rds.
  14. Devin Funchess is just a guy. Benjamin can be very good, but they've got a pretty bad group of Wrs.
  15. They don't get the soft schedule of last year. "On paper," I think outside of the Jets they're the 2nd worst team in the league talent wise. The GM and HC plan to dump young players seems odd but they didn't draft them so they're better off with journeymen fringe NFL players?
  16. McDermott was on board when they traded up for Jones and Dawkins.
  17. Or they could've picked up the option. The Bills do a pretty good job of drafting terribly so they probably won't have to pay anybody big money in the next few years. McCoy is a good player, but running backs have no value. The Bills have topped out at mediocre for 17 years. They value running backs but don't value Qb's. They want to play 1970's football. Whaley ran this draft just like Nix took Manuel. I don't get why if this was the plan they brought Taylor back. Also why wouldn't they draft Mahomes or Watson? Next year's the year to get a QB right? Well that's if everything falls right and they're picking ahead of the Jets, 9ers, Jags.
  18. It's a cliche but Marino was before his era. He was a better player than Kelly. Marino's game vs Bledsoe after he blew out achilles is as great of a game a QB has played, IMO. Both were great but I'd take Marino and not really close.
  19. Start him day 1. If this season goes as expected at least being bad again next year we'll hopefully have a rookie QB to watch get better. I think best case scenario Cousins goes to SF and the Bills are able to trade up with them if they have their typical year. Depending on what it costs to trade up or if they have to trade up I think they need to go offensive weapons early and often. They've got one of the worst WR groups in the league and a rb who will be 30. Worst case scenario they draft an OT or DT and go with a mid-rd QB and sell the hope that the 2019 draft is the year.
  20. I'd trade Taylor for a 4th, no need to add Bortles.
  21. The Bills are a trade like that away from being the Jets. Which in the long run would be better for the franchise. I just don't get making holes on the roster. Then using the collateral from trades to replace the holes that have been made.
  22. Watkins should've been a franchise corner stone. Matthews and Gaines aren't that.
