  1. Maybe I missed it but Kelly can return to Ole Miss. They should be looking early. Not in a spot they were in when drafted Manuel 3 rounds before they should've, but if a guy is available in round 1 they think can turn the franchise around they need to pull the trigger.
  2. Aside from Watkins all the Bills WR are slotted one spot above their ability.
  3. I think USC is regretting not waiting. My guess is he takes a year off and ends up at Texas or Kevin Sumlin leaves A&M because he can't keep Qb's and Kelly goes there. He can coach at the NFL level. His treatment of high profile players will cost him getting another job. Nick Foles threw 27 td's and was it 2 ints? He can coach. I don't think he'll get another NFL chance.
  4. Corey Graham shouldn't play at all on a team if they're trying to compete for the playoffs. His time has passed.
  5. Finish 6-10 they're in the running for Lynch or Goff. If not go into next season with Taylor as the 1 and Cook as the 2. Taylor's stats look good especially compared to what we're used to. Then go a little deeper they're 28th in passing. What Taylor does well is not turn the ball over. The situation their is different because off the field issues. To me it's reasonable to say it's a passing league and the Bills are one of the worst passing teams in the league.
  6. Most thought Bob Griffin would be good after his rookie year. Same with Kaepernick, Freeman had a season with 4:1 td int ratio.
  7. I think it's a passing league and the Bills have a poor passing attack with Taylor. His numbers aren't bad. 300 yards is an arbitrary number that guys like Blaine Gabbert have hit this year and Taylor has not. It's as likely he can regress like Bob Griffin, Josh Freeman, Colin Kaepernick, or even Bills QB's of past like Losman, Edwards, and Fitzpatrick. If the Bills wanna be a team like KC who looks like they'll make the playoffs and have a nice season but IMO have no shot at a SB than Taylor can be the guy.
  8. He can get better but I think he is probably the best he'll be right now. Which maybe ok if the goal is to get to the playoffs. If the goal is the SB I don't see it.
  9. No 300 yard passing games. When he throws for under 200 yards they win. His numbers are good. Seemed to have a lot of balls batted down last week. He's 0-4 when down by a td in the last two minutes. I think he needs to get better to be the long-term answer. He deserves to be starter next year. Team still needs a viable back-up whether that's drafting a guy early or signing someone.
  10. Everybody knows how to build a football team. Nobody can find a QB.
  11. Alex Smith, Hoyer, Bradford/Sanchez, Cousins, Cassel, Fitzpatrick. All are worse than the Qb's the Bills have lost too. Tyrod out plays them I think the Bills go at worst 10-6. He doesn't then keep searching because the guy we got isn't good enough to beat average to below average guys.
  12. I think he's about the same as Fitzpatrick, Hoyer, and Alex Smith. Bills have been looking for a long-term solution at QB for nearly 20 years. I'm just hoping that he's good enough to get them to the playoffs this year. If it's between him and Ftiz, Hoyer, Smith flip a coin. I think Taylor will be the QB next year but they've gotta take a QB early and groom him. Haven't looked at updated numbers but last time I checked the Bills had the highest percentage of 3 and outs in the league.
  13. I thought the Graham tackling attempt was worse.
  14. Well if we're trying to keep it positive at least they're on the screen for in the hunt for Goff.
  15. They're what the Bills have but neither appears to be a long-term solution.
  16. Most coaches are spineless when going for it on 4th.
  17. If Bradford is benched I think they've got a chance with Romo out. Colts division is terrible. Out I'd take Carolina and Jets.
  18. I agree. Once teams start hitting bye weeks I expect him to be brought in for workouts.
  19. He did have a good game a few seasons ago. What's not to like?
  20. Salary cap implications of previous picks were much harsher for picks. I don't think any recent pick for any team can be considered worst ever unless you give up a boat load for a guy like RG3. Even with that he's set them back but took them to the playoffs. Also they were up in the playoff game if I remembered correctly and running read option when he had one leg.
  21. The 4th rd pick on Brown was wasted the minute they traded for him. I don't think the OT positions are solidified. I think McCoy is a much better player than Kiko. If the trade wasn't made and Alonso returned to the form he had at the start of his rookie year then they'd have to pay him thus limiting money they could spend on other guys. It works both ways. Unless you preferred the days of signing guys like Eddie Robinson.
  22. He means more to the Bills than any other team in the league by a mile. If he doesn't win job I think he will be dealt for a low round draft pick.
