  1. Comparing to MLB is tough. I believe the A's get a 2nd rd pick for Lester signing with the Cubs. Would get Cubs pick in 1st but it's protected. Also can't trade draft picks in MLB. Also the A's collapsed after the Lester trade. I'd trade any guy on this roster for a proven elite QB. With that said the valuable trade parts on the Bills are more valuable to the Bills than they are to other teams. Like buying a new car, once you drive it off the lot it's value goes down. Watkins had a decent season and I think because he's good already we're also diminishing him. As a rookie with below average QB play he was the Bills best play-maker. Anything less than an elite QB then no.
  2. I think the Bills would have as good of a shot with Malzahn as they would with Meyer. I'd be ecstatic with either one.
  3. I see Schwartz as a fall back option, and I don't mean that in a terrible way. Lions went 11-5 after he's fired with an extremely favorable schedule. They were 2-4 against teams .500 or better. I'd like to do better but think he's an obvious safe choice.
  4. An offensive coach whose offense was pathetic is a hot commodity. Go figure.
  5. Bryce Brown Keith Rivers E.J. Manuel I think Brown will get cut before the opening day roster. Not sure the cap implications but I don't think Rivers will go to training camp with the team. E.J. gets traded for like a 6th or 7th.
  6. Hasn't won a playoff game. John Fox, Bill Belicheck, Pete Carroll all failed to some extent at previous stints as a head coach. I don't think they were terrible coaches before; now at least Belicheck is going right into the HOF. All those guys became good coaches when they got great QB's.
  7. Detroit, Arizona, Denver, New England, Indy going into this week were all bottom half of the league in YPC.
  8. Bryce Brown has been the worst back on the roster. If they didn't waste a draft pick on him he'd be bagging groceries. The Bills signed Chris Williams and he's hurt but he's been terrible pretty much his whole career. That move was almost as bad as the Brown trade. The whole offensive line has been pathetic. I'll give the benefit of the doubt to Wood and Glenn but other than that it's been terrible, and Urbik is an improvement over Cyril.
  9. I'd take just about anybody who doesn't coach scared like Marrone. As for Kelly winning with A below average QB he's like 5-7 when Foles doesn't start. That includes a game in which Foles came in early to beat the Giants.
  10. A turd in a different numbered jersey is still a turd. Sadly that's all the Bills have had at QB since Kelly.
  11. With how pathetic the offense is I don't think he could make it worse. That Bryce Brown trade is brutal.
  12. I think Bradford if healthy is slightly better than Orton. Which would put this team in the playoffs.
  13. I'm not sure if it's by where he thinks they'll be picked or who he thinks the best prospect are. If I had to guess it'd be who the best prospects are. McShay is done by grade so it's best prospects.
  14. Mariota is ranked number 1 on his big board and 2 on Mcshay's board. So what he's trying to say is that their is no franchise altering player in the draft.
  15. Bryce Brown trade was terrible. Don't think he's anything more than a 3rd string RB at best.
  16. How pathetic was the attendance at the hockey game last night? Marlins sign a bunch of big name guys then trade them off after get new stadium.
  17. Washington doesn't have a good roster. RG3 is owed a lot of money I believe. I think Gruden is safe and RG3 is gone. Then again it's Snyder.
  18. The team is better with Spiller and Jackson. Marrone and Hackett negate any advantage they would give the team
  19. I don't think it's out of the question. Especially if more things come out against Winston. Think Kelly leaving Oregon.
  20. During the Bills/Jets game they mentioned the previous time the Jets threw 6 ints that had to be the Bills game that went to OT. The whole NFC looks weak. I don't think their will be much of a difference for the Eagles.
  21. Considering the investment Mettenberger would have to look great. Other teams such as Arizona and Dallas I think would take a QB if a guy they like is available. Guys like Cook, Petty, Hundley seem to treading water. Even with the monetary investment less I think teams will be cowardly and waste picks early on lineman.
  22. Tampa, NYJ, Titans, Houston, maybe Oakland are teams I think will be looking QB early. Carr has decent numbers in Oakland but a new coach may still want to get his guy. Marriota has the tools but every time I watch Oregon he's throwing to guys who are wide open. Winston I think will be a good player. I think if you don't want the Jets to take either one of them you're hoping Oakland doesn't want either one and trades out.
