Know we are with you Ye Ole. You have a community of support from folks you have never seen or met face to face. Just put out the word. My deepest prayers and sympathies.

I think you steer clear of the pics as a dad (it creeps me to think about my two daughters in the pics and it would creep them to have their dad look at them). However you reinforce that if modeling is what she wants to do--if she is passionate about it--she should be the absolute best she can be. You also constantly do what a dad does -- offer her support and protection when she needs it, remind her to think about her own morals and standards when she does a shoot or film and remind her -that like it or not--other young girls will see her example and use it as a guide in their own decisions. In essence remind her of the public role she has chosen to take and the responsibilities. Is that too old fashioned?

Played WR and TE for Wanny at Pitt--never really met the huge expectations from being the PA large school player of the year his senior year at West Allegheny HS. Had a really good Senior season at Pitt at TE with 10 TE's - 45 catches and 500 yards. Made a couple All American Teams. 2010 Draft - went 7th Round to the Texans-- has never caught a pass in the pro game and has bounced around. NE signed him and cut him before we picked him up. Trying him at HBack might be a key..Measurables are pretty amazing -- 6'2" 230 lbs 4.4 40 and a 42" vertical... He is likely competing with Fendi Onobun for the #3 TE role

John Murphy joins the Bills as a Full Time Employee is my guess. Lots of teams have their Play-By-Play person as an FTE and Murph's TV obligations are gone.

I think Powell has to beat him out at two positions to keep the roster spot. Moorman has proven to be a reliable holder on FGs and PATs--Powell also held in College--but this will be about comfort with Lindell. Moorman probably has a slight edge here but it can be overcome. In terms of pure punting ability and directional punting -- Powell, based on watching him play a bit in the ACC, is a very good young punter who can punt for distance and accuracy at the upper NFL level. I can't ever remember in 10 games or so of watching him seeing anything that resembled a shank. Very consistent. Love the way he uses the strategic Rugby punt....
