  1. That's too funny. No wonder I couldn't find you. Here's mine: I think it was done while they were setting up for the Phil Hansen Wall-of-Fame ceremony
  2. People don't seem to realize that the Bills are just now catching up with what most of the league has been doing for years. Houston closed their parking lots 2 hours after the game back when I was there in 2005. Many teams do Disney parking in all their lots, and some stadiums don't even allow tailgating in their lots. At $25 and with all lots but 1 available on game day without a pre-purchased pass, the Bills parking is still better than almost every other team out there. But Hammer's is even better than that
  3. It helped that they got all 8 of their penalties in the 2nd half, and many of them were of the 'automatic first down' variety
  4. But but but... Pat Kirwan says they speak volumes: http://www.nfl.com/news/story/09000d5d8226208d/article/gailey-proving-to-be-big-reason-why-bills-are-part-of-20-club
  5. If I was gonna, I would've. Friends in common know who it is.
  6. As a season ticket holder, I've always offered to buy single-game tickets for people before they go on sale to the general public. I've even purchased blocks of over 100 for season openers so that TBD members can sit together - many for people I've never met. This year I offered publically and privately if anyone wanted an advance ticket purchase, and ended up buying 8 tickets for friends. After that purchase I had another person basically beg me to get him a ticket and put it with the others I had already bought. I called the ticket office and was able to move other tickets so that I could get that arranged. He promised to send me a check. That was right after the lockout ended. I never got a check and did not get an answer when I asked for an update. I considered this person a friend and figured I'd see him this past weekend and get the $ for the ticket. Gameday morning I held out hope he'd show and held his ticket despite an early offer from a scalper. Well he never showed. No call, no message, nothing. I scalped his $70 ticket for $20 at 11:30 before heading into the stadium. So TBD - sorry, but you're on your own for tickets from now on. This season ticket holder's generosity has run out.
  7. You can park anywhere you want in any lot except 2 & 3. Yes, traffic was bad at 9AM.
  8. It's all cause Lee Evans is gone.
  9. And Don Banks too: http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2011/writers/don_banks/09/18/week.2/index.html?sct=nfl_t12_a2&sct=nfl_t2_a22

  11. Ahhh. Well considering I also have Jamaal Charles, you could be onto something there.
  12. It was a battle between SDS & I. TPS was a) a good golfer and 2) playing on his home course so he didn't count SDS started slowly, slicing drives. I had a couple of rough holes in the middle, hitting sand and not chipping well. Then Scott's back started tightening up and I held on for a 58-60 victory.
  13. Great, I just picked him up on my fantasy team
  14. Leo Roth put us at 6th in the Rochester D&C today
  15. Once again I didn't take any...

  17. It was the power of the kilt, baby! If we go undefeated at home, it's gonna be a tough December
  18. So the TBD Open is in the books. I think TPS had little trouble on his home course, but it was a close battle between SDS & I. I prevailed 58-60. It was a nice day for golf - 64 degrees with a little breeze. At the hotel now, preparing for the evening's festivities at Danny's and maybe on to O'Neill's Stadium Inn to catch a blues band that looks very good. Life is good!

  20. Maybe move to every-day delivery for November/December so that people can get all the crap they ordered online.
  21. Noon at Nick Tahou's. R. Rich will make his annual appearance for a Garbage Plate. I am planning on being there as well and hopefully some local bretheren (and sisteren) can join us.
  22. Very cool. Looks like it will only be us 4 so I'm gonna cancel the first tee time. We'll keep the 1:51.
