  1. http://forums.twobillsdrive.com/topic/132511-t-shirt-oders/ I know we say this every year, but this year's design truly is the best yet and focuses more on the team after last years' TBD-centric offering. This will be Tailgate XII (12) - think of the most famous Bill to wear that number and you'll start to have an idea. In honor of the change from Navy back to the color it should be, the shirt this year will be Royal Blue. Even if you can't attend the opener/tailgate (even though you really should make every effort to do so), this shirt is a must-have to show your Bills/TBD colors!
  2. NFL Network will be showing all 64 preseason games, 6 live and the rest on delay.
  3. I've seen the design and concur - really sharp! tshirt designer guy. 1 adult XL for me please
  4. So I've got 1 yes, and 4 maybes. Consider the offer closed.
  5. I spoke with the ticket office today just to find out what kind of tickets we could get in a block for the opener. I was told we'd probably be in $55/ticket land, section 335 row 31 & up. Here's the view: http://www.seatdata.com/images/nfl_bills/1024x768/335.jpg So I put it out there... who would be interested in getting tickets in a block for the tailgate/opener? It'd be our usual gig - pay me (check or paypal) and I'd order them. I'd want to do it pretty quickly though so that we don't get hosed. So by Thursday respond here with a count and if it's popular we'll put it together.

  7. I know the first Hulk movie really sucked so they remade it... The first Spider-Man movie wasn't THAT bad... I thought this movie was going back in time to take place between 1 and 2, not completely re-do 1 to look like a video game.
  8. At least the guy proposing this seems to have a better idea than the old one. A much smaller boat (1/4 the size) for one thing. It won't carry cars. Lower price point. And as a 'Sibley', he's got a family background in marketing & sales (Sibley's department stores) and transportation (the family started Western Union). He's got to have buy in on the other side of the border to make it viable - it can't just be New Yorkers going to Toronto. If the new boat won't take cars then he's got to have cars available over here - you can't get anywhere from Charlotte without a car. The good news - it will be 100% private. The news said he hoped if he could get everything set up it could be running next summer.
  9. Well Abby did go to Our Sisters of Mercy high school here in Rochester...
  10. They pay me to stay on Earth.
  11. I am always amazed at how good Abby Wambach is in the air. She gets so much higher than anyone around her and has such timing and control to get up to the ball and then put it where she wants it with her head. To be able to continually do that when everybody knows that's the plan is a testament to her tenacity and skill. And she's from Pittsford
  12. Starting to look for tickets now...
  13. I'm liking what I've heard from Manchester Orchestra so far.
  14. So far the family seems reasonable. They say they won't sue, and that the guy died happy, doing what he loved and wanted to do.
  15. I work with someone who is married to a sherriff's deputy who was on the scene. Here's a summary of what that person had to say: It looks like they brought the guy up to the ride via the handicapped access ramp and helped him into the front seat. He made it past the 2 big hills/drops. At some point after that the guy's baseball hat blew off and it appears he may have reached up to grab it and that's what released his grip and got him elevated enough to be thrown out. He went over the front of the car, which then hit him at top speed. I guess the other people in the first few cars were covered in body parts. The ride operators, who had no idea what had happened, let the next train go through the ride. I'm not sure on the physics of how someone would get thrown forward in that case unless it was just as the ride also hit some slow-down brakes or something.
  16. a bit of an update: http://news.yahoo.com/questions-swirl-vet-falls-ny-coaster-213420471.html
  17. You only need tickets for night practices.
  18. I have half-plates
  19. That was Mary Tyler Moore. You're thinking of Grace Kelly, the singer for Jefferson Starship.
