  1. Buffalo (9-4) at New England (11-2) - duh. We win and we eliminate their tiebreaker edge and are one game out with 3 to play. 3 NFC teams against AFC contenders. Go NFC! Arizona (3-10) at Houston (8-5) - Go Cards. Green Bay (9-3-1) at Denver (11-2). Go Pack. Indianapolis (9-5) at Seattle (10-3) - Go Hawks. AFC Battles Baltimore (6-7) at Cincinnati (4-9) - go Bengals. Get Ravens that much closer to official elimination, although they do host the Pats in week 16. LA Chargers (9-4) at Kansas City (6-7) - Tough one with LA officially ahead of us right now. But the note about official elimination above also applies to KC... I enjoyed KC's loss to Houston and I'd enjoy this one too I think. NY Jets (3-10) at Jacksonville (9-4) - J-E-T-S Jets Jets Jets Miami (6-7) at Pittsburgh (7-6) - Some have mentioned wanting Miami to have something to play for in their week 18 finale against NE. Personally I want them dead because I hate them. Go Stillers.
  2. used to be til I moved. Do I still have my bins with newspapers from the 90s playoff runs? yes I do. Do I still have every Buffalo Bills football card I ever came across? yes I do. But i've gotten rid of lots of other stuff.
  3. I'll be interested to see if they can force this onto the International stadiums
  4. yeah it was him, Del Reid, John Lang (aka Bills Elvis) and a couple of others
  5. I've been at so many games there, starting with the first one. Been a season-ticket holder since 1987. Was at 51-3. Was at The Comeback (and stayed). Attended every playoff game except the covid year. But my favorite experience was the snow game vs Indy.
  6. These were who I'm hoping will win (or in some cases lose), not predictions.
  7. Much like hoping for a KC win, I'm don't think I can do this.
  8. - Pittsburgh (6-6) at Baltimore (6-6). Obviously we've beaten them both, but I'd rather Baltimore be out so go Stillers. - Indianapolis (8-4) at Jacksonville (8-4). We seem to have more trouble historically against Jax so I'll go with Indy here. - Miami (5-7) at NY Jets (3-9). J-E-T-S! Let's put the fish out of their misery. - Denver (10-2) at Las Vegas (2-10). No Brainer - go Raiders. But they really do suck. - Houston (7-5) at Kansas City (6-6). Struggling with this one. Obv we came up a bit short against Houston and have bad luck in their building. And I'm becoming less and less concerned about KC. It'll be difficult, but I'll hope for Houston to lose here (actively hoping for KC to win is not possible). - Philadelphia (8-4) at LA Chargers (8-4). Fly Eagles Fly.
  9. What made me happy yesterday was intentionally involving the backs in the passing offense. I'm very jealous of how the 49ers use McCaffery in their offense - they just want the ball in his hands with room to operate. Up until this game the backs were simply outlets if none of Josh's primary reads were available. To have the backs in space on a called play with blockers available because that's the design of the play is a big step forward in my book. Moving Josh around a bit also made me happy. Every defense has known exactly where he was gonna be. Rollouts and moving pockets is another step forward.
  10. "Pittsburgh knows they're defeated. That's what happens when you run the ball down somebody's throat" One thing nobody I've seen mention is that the lineman trying to block Bosa actually has him around the neck and lets go to avoid the holding call. That's why Bosa was able to get back at Rogers from behind. Lineman decided getting his star QB destroyed was worth 10 yards.

  12. Was thinking this as I watched the 49ers do this with McCaffery all freakin' night. Do it on purpose and plan for it, not just as an outlet because whatever else we schemed up isn't available.
  13. meaning the top 2 picks come into our division. nice.
  14. in for a show in Chicago. Sister also got in for a show in DFW. Got shut out of Toronto today but may try again Friday.
  15. It's called veteran-driven leadership. The lead players are the ones needed to police this kind of thing. This statement by Tua is more an indictment on himself than anyone else. If he can't get other players in line without this kind of public whining, that's on him.
  16. I see capitalism winning and a bunch of overpriced laundry headed for the back of people's closets.
  17. My dilemma: My white jersey, a good-looking Allen knock-off, has 2 strikes against it - the numbers are painted, not sewn layers. And the paint is starting to come off - It's been worn at 2 games. We lost 'em both. It's cursed. I do have one other white jersey, my authentic Jeff Wright from 1991. It's a classic but is showing its age for sure with some seams starting to unravel. I think I'm gonna wear the Wright, but it's going to end up under a light gray hoodie to limit exposure to damage.
  18. The stadium always looks great. And nobody ever said anything about uniqueness. But engaging Nike (a company) to develop a different line of uniforms for specific games (Rivalries) is 100% marketing whose purpose is $.
  19. Just a marketing ploy to get people to buy white gear, which won't be white by the end of the game
  20. in situations like this, the only answer (as it almost always is) is to root for miami to lose.
  21. day trip - driving up Thursday morning, driving back friday morning
  22. you wore a different jersey after a win?!?! This is what I'm talking about...
  23. Josh said in his postgame that it wasn't a hand to the face, it was that his helmet got slammed down onto the bridge of his nose.
