We've got a trip set up soon to go to the Roller Coaster capital of the world. Who's been there done that? Did you stay on-site or off? if on, what can you tell me about the different hotels? Staying on-site gets you an hour earlier admission - is it worth it? You also get parking included - how is parking if you stay off-site and drive to the park? did you go to the water park too? if so, how does that compare to others? We're spending a day at Great Wolf Lodge before we hit Cedar Point so that might be enough water... What's the best discount option for tickets? We've seen a combo with the Rock N Roll HOF that we're considering. Favorite Rides? Least favorite?

I'm not blaming the FO for not fixing every hole this off-season and not having a pro-bowler at every position. My point was that given what we have on the roster currently, having Hangartner at Center and Wood at Guard is a better option than having Wood at Center and Urbik at Guard.

Lot 1 is now a pre-pay lot. You have to have a pass to get into it, which you can buy on a single-game or season basis. Not sure they're parking Disney-style or not. I didn't think they were last year, and when it was half-full just before kickoff they started letting anyone in, pass or not.

From what I've heard, the Disney-style parking will only be (for now) in lots 2 & 3. I did hear an interesting point on WGR this morning (no, really!)... In late December when they don't fill up the lots, you'll have half the lot crammed together and the other half totally empty. I don't get how this style of parking facilitates an easier exit. People don't all leave at the same time. It's not like church where each pew leaves after the one behind it in an orderly fashion.

You want to park at Pittsford Sutherland High School, which is on the corner of Jefferson Road and Sutherland Street in Pittsford. Shuttle busses leave from there ($1/person). Practice starts at 7 so you probably want to get there before 6 to a) beat the crowds and 2) give some time to peruse the Bills Store on-site.
