Interesting question. I wouldn’t vote a straight yes or no. I would say it was somewhat successful. That is also because we have low expectations as Bills fans. 23 and 22 with 1 playoff birth in 3 years on a franchise like Pittsburgh would be considered a big failure , but that record for Bills or Browns fans is considered descent

Exactly. You have a higher opinion of him unlike some others, but you understand he’s not a franchise guy. Thats exactly what I’m trying to say and I think all of us whether we think he’s average or mediocre or awful , we all can agree he’s not a franchise guy and it’s time to move on.

I’m With you on that one. Its still early and he may pull a Jared Goff and excell with some better coaching and playmakers in his 2nd year, but i would bet he isn’t going to pan out

I don’t disagree with anything you said. Thd debate will always continue. But my point is, does anyone on this board actually think he should be the Bills QB for the future? I don’t think so personally. Some people may label me as pro TT because I don’t think he is awful. But that doesn’t mean I wanted him as the Bills QB in 2018.

I do think at the end of the day pretty much all of us agreed it was time to move on from TT as the QB for the future. Where we differed is how high/ low we ranked him. Like I don’t think he was as bad as lots of you guys say. And a lot of people thought he was pretty much the worst QB in the league. But like I said, regardless if some of us thought he was the 20th best QB in the league or 32nd best QB in the league, I think at the end of the day we all are in agreement that he wasn’t good enough as the QB for the franchise.

The Browns upgraded big time at the QB position. TT is way better than Kizer. Where I am surprised is how much they gave up. I didn’t think the Bills would get a 3rd rounder, nevertheless the 1st pick of the 3rd round

Classy guy you are.. The guy gave his heart and soul to his team, was a true class act, and was probably the Bills best QB since Flutie. He wasn’t good enough though and it was time to move on. I wish him nothing but the best

I agree. Even if Darnold goes one, I think they should still take a QB at 2. But They may ride with Eli for a few more years and get an elite talent RB in Barkley

It will be interesting to see what the Giants do if Barkley goes number 1. Do they get a QB? Trade down? Get Fitzpatrick?

Crazy that going into the season a lot of people (including myself) thought the Bills weakness was going to be in the secondary. (Losing Gilmore, Darby, A Williams retiring, Graham) And it turned out that it was by far their biggest strength of their team. Hyde and Poyer were amazing pick-ups, and we don't even have to mention how good Tre White and Gaines were

I would still prefer that then taking like a LB and DE and 21 and 22. It would show me they are going for their guy and are taking a swing

I know that it was 2015 but that was 3 years ago and that was the last time he went into an NFL season being a starter. (And then lost his job) 3 years as a backup QB or two great games? I would not bet on 2 great games. Any QB can get hot for two games. He just happened to get hot at the perfect time

Flacco is going to be 33 years old and seems like he is on a decline every year. While he was pretty good like 5 years ago, he has been very mediocre the last 4 years
