Pretty sure Singletary is good to go. If not, then yes. They need to add an RB.

On that second 4th down, where Josh was stonewalled, I thought they should have either done what they did the previous 4th down and rushed to the line and skipped the huddle OR kick the FG. I figured they were going to fake it the 2nd time. Once again, I was wrong. But with this D I guess he can take a few chances.

Duke likely wasn't ready to start the season. Still needed to learn all the route trees/playbook/etc. Those weeks on the PS served him well.

I get that, but you have to think about the RB room. Who has what skills. Murphy on the team helps ST for sures. Probably doesn't even play in the backfield unless Gore or Singletary are injured. I'm not saying I'm completely against it. But if I'm going to make a tweak to this roster, RB isn't high on the the list of things that need to be improved, IMO.

I like Murphy, but don't really understand the sentiment, unless it's for special teams. Gore and Singletary are quite efficient backs. Yeldon is (when the other two are healthy) mostly a receiving back. Can Murphy replace Yeldon as a quality receiving back? I don't recall that being his strength.

WAY back in the old days, I made another username just for fun, and for a very specific purpose. But I believe in standing behind your posts and not playing too many games with the community. So I no longer do that.

For me, this was the biggest takeaway from the game. Having versatile linemen should serve this team well. That and Josh being on-target the entire game. Even the INT was on target (but a bad decision).

I believe George only smoked cigars, though I could be wrong. For the most part, cigar smokers who aren't cigarette smokers do not inhale the cigar smoke. BIG difference on your lung health. Still can suffer from mouth cancer, if you smoke enough. And before somebody calls me on the obvious, yes you can get lung cancer, and mouth cancer, etc without ever smoking.

I didn't say it wasn't "comparable". ANY two things are comparable. I just don't think Zay's imaginary CFL stats make one bit of difference. Like I said, I'm all in with Duke being called up.

What does that have to co with the CFL? I'm fine with Duke being on the roster and takin snaps from/replacing Zay. But how either would perform in the CFL is simply not in the equation.

He did. Before that, slow, drops, lack of seperation and effort on some plays.Given the buildup here, I expected more. But my mind is wide open. I'm rooting for him.

Why would anyone (except for other CFL teams and fans) care? I wish Duke luck. While I was fairly unimpressed with him in preseason, regular season is a different animal. Hopefully he steps up. As to who is inactive in the event Duke plays I hope it isn't McKenzie.

I would never give 100% trust to any doctor, no matter what his/her reputation. If four doctors weighed in, and all agreed, I'd accept their finding, but 100% faith? Never. With that said, then how would YOU decide? Flip a coin? Ask the forum if they think Josh is OK. If not an independent doctor, what's your better approach here. Since neither McDermott nor Beane are doctors, I think they will go ahead and trust the independent neurologist with respect to Josh's clearance. With many other kinds of injuries doctors tell players they are good to go, but sometimes the coach notices a little hitch, or hesitation (uncertainty) on the practice field. Then may (even with a doc's clearance) keep a guy out for another week. I highly doubt McDermott will do that in this case, unless over the course of the next day notices anything "off" with Josh's mental condition. I completely expect Josh to start, and do well.
