  1. The Pegulas should ask Tre and all the players and coaches what could they do more to make everyone feel safer. A extra bonus for players and coaches to help deal with covid , say $50K each could help and show they care.
  2. That is what Judge Andrew Napolitano a FOX news contributor believes not me you idiot ,
  3. Judge Andrew Napolitano: Portland protests are about dissent, and without dissent we'd have little freedom Only a government hateful or fearful of the people it claims to serve uses force to silence them. The federal forces in Portland are doing far more than protecting a federal courthouse. They are listening to people’s phone calls and capturing their text messages and emails without warrants. They are materially interfering with lawful dissent. It is one thing to build a wall or a fence around a courthouse and man it with armed guards. It is quite another to wade into a crowd of peaceful demonstrators with tear gas of such intensity and ferocity -- its active ingredient is 2-chlorobenzalmalononitrile -- that it is prohibited in wartime by treaties to which the United States is a signatory. https://www.foxnews.com/opinion/portland-protests-dissent-freedom-andrew-napolitano
  4. America's economy just had its worst quarter on record New York (CNN Business)The US economy contracted by 32.9% between April and June, its worst drop on record, the Bureau of Economic Analysis said Thursday. Business ground to a halt during the pandemic lockdown in the spring of this year, and America plunged into its first recession in 11 years, putting an end to the longest economic expansion in US history. A recession is commonly defined as two consecutive quarters of declining gross domestic product — the broadest measure of the economy. Between January and March, GDP declined by 5%. The GDP drop was nearly four times worse than during the peak of the financial crisis, when GDP fell 8.4% in the fourth quarter of 2008. Quarterly GDP numbers are expressed as an annualized rate. This means that the economy didn't actually contract by a third from the first quarter to the second. The annualized rate measures how much the economy would grow or shrink if conditions were to persist for 12 months. But by either measure, the second quarter is still the worst on record. https://www.cnn.com/2020/07/30/economy/us-economy-2020-second-quarter/index.html
  5. Only due to the risk of covid 19
  6. It's good to have options during covid 19
  7. Watched a TV news report yesterday, you don't have to depend on the postal service , drop off your completed ballot at your local Board of Elections before Election Day and let them stamp a date on that envelope. If you don't receive a ballot in the mail , vote in person and advise the BOE of this if you wanted the mail in ballot.
  8. The Trump administration was slow to recognize coronavirus threat from Europe, CDC director admits "The introduction from Europe happened before we realized what was happening," Redfield said. "By the time we realized (the) Europe threat and shut down travel to Europe, there was probably already two or three weeks of 60,000 people coming back every day from Europe," he added. "That's where the large seeding came in the Unites States." The US restricted travel from China on February 2 and from Europe on March 13, but by March 8, Covid-19 was already circulating among the community in New York City and, by March 15, community transmission of the virus was already widespread, a recent analysis from the CDC found. By the time the Trump administration banned travelers from Europe, the virus was already spreading in New York City, according to the report. Testing was also limited at the start of the epidemic there, allowing people with undetected cases to spread the virus. During the ABC interview, Redfield also admitted that there have been problems with the federal response. The CDC director discussed his initial response to news of something mysterious happening in central China. He said he got a phone call on New Year's Eve last year alerting him to an incident involving a respiratory condition in Wuhan and he told ABC he knew it was serious. He said he wrote the first situation report on the incident the very next day. "We felt that this had potential to be a very serious situation that had national security implications." The CDC was ready to send in a team of scientists within a week, but the Chinese government refused to let them in, Redfield said, something he has said before and pointed to as a reason the US got a later start in identifying the dangerous virus and taking action. https://www.cnn.com/2020/07/28/health/redfield-coronavirus-spread-abc/index.html Dr Redfield now has my respect for this honesty
  9. I just hope Star is motivated to workout while he is off and return in 2021 in good condition.
  10. The locker room has to be made safer , wear masks, expand to extra rooms or corridor , add temp showers. The close contact during a game will be the risk. This does not look promising so far , some players stressed for their families and opt out What caused MLB Marlins outbreak , locker room , team bus , plane ride ?
  11. Lets wait and see what the country is like by mid October . Will the economy be fully open , schools back to normal , covid 19 and if it has lasting side effects , social unrest or peace , are police funded and back to normal. Way too many unknowns at this point, will voters be relieved or want change.
  12. I just don't believe in Trump , it's as simple as that , not complicated at all.
  13. How many lives and $trillions did the fake WMD cost
  14. Are you saying Trump always tells the truth ?
  15. If he would pick Susan Rice for VP and listen to her (I trust her ) that might change my mind. She's smart , calm and dignified that makes me calm
  16. To be honest I would hate to see Biden elected and take all the blame for a collapsing economy and the health crisis from the coming covid side effects. jmo
  17. Portland and Seattle are just beyond belief to me. Peaceful protests are fine but violence and vandalism I can't understand . I do give the protesters credit for ingenuity using leaf blowers against tear gas. If the mayors there don't want federal troops or national guard then it's their police who get injured and all the businesses getting damaged. This is not how MLK and John Lewis protested what a mess.

  20. One super spreader in a locker room can be a disaster.
  21. NFL should take note only allow limited number of players in club house at once . Playing that's a big problem that can't be mitigated.
