Why is Marcel Dareus still a free agent?
ALF replied to Brennan Huff's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
If he is interested in playing and recovered from his surgery his agent would be working the phones. At the least he could be a space eater DT -
The US needs to talk about long-term coronavirus symptoms, a doctor and a patient say Doctors baffled by Covid-19 'long hauler' patients 03:49 (CNN)It's been almost five months since Shelby Hedgecock tested positive for Covid-19, and the former personal trainer said her symptoms are still debilitating. Hedgecock is among patients who call themselves "long-haul survivors" -- those who experience symptoms long after testing positive. And long-term effects like theirs need to be taken seriously, a doctor researching these symptoms told CNN on Monday night. Covid-19 can be a prolonged illness, even among young adults without underlying chronic medical conditions, the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reported in July. Hedgecock first tested positive in April. And though she tested negative in May, she is still having neurological issues, cognitive issues, shortness of breath, chest pain, loss of smell and body aches and pains that send her to her bed for days if she participates in even gentle yoga, she told CNN. https://www.cnn.com/2020/09/01/health/long-haul-coronavirus-doctor-patient/index.html

Leonard Fournette and Shaq Lawson ejected for throwing punches in Bills-Jaguars brawl The scrum began when Buffalo safety Micah Hyde was shoved and grabbed Jacksonville receiver Dede Westbrook. Jaguars running back Carlos Hyde pushed Lawson and Jerry Hughes. Lawson pushed Hyde back and Fournette shoved Lawson from behind, which escalated the brawl. Fournette and Lawson traded punches in the melee while Moncrief and Thomas continued spooning in the end zone. After the ejections, Lawson had to be restrained by Buffalo Bills staff on the field and in the tunnel as he continued jawing at Fournette as the players were led to their respective locker rooms. https://www.democratandchronicle.com/story/sports/football/nfl/bills/2018/11/25/leonard-fournette-shaq-lawson-ejected-punches-fight-jacksonville-jaguars-buffalo-bills/2108947002/

Are we better off now than we were four years ago?
ALF replied to SectionC3's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Since covid has cost us $trillions the Paris Accord is way too expensive now. The stronger military is funded by more borrowed money . The budget control act of 2011 (scrapped now) limited the amount Obama could borrow hence less money for the military. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Budget_Control_Act_of_2011 I'm for border security and fair trade deals. My job with many others went to Mexico due to NAFTA -

Record unemployment , deficit , many small businesses going under , individuals and businesses not paying rent , cost to the healthcare system. I hate to think of the long term effects covid is still doing to the economy. The state and local deficits are unreal and they have to balance a budget . -
Schools opening especially colleges, cases will be going up even Buffalo now . Treatment and containment is a lot better now so less deaths .
-
I would prefer Memorial Stadium for now . War and covid fatalities , 2020 is a very sad year.

The 2019 Buffalo Bills' rushing defense in context In the 2019 regular season, the Buffalo Bills allowed over 100 yards a game—103.1 to be precise. The league average was 112.9 yards per game. The Bills were the tenth-best team in the league at stopping the run. Unarmed people being shot could be mentally ill , high on drugs , would rather die then go back to prison , police have a tough choice to make in a instant.

Albert Breer @AlbertBreer The Vikings and DE Yannick Ngakoue worked overnight on an adjustment to his franchise tender, landing at a little under $13 million. That's down from $17.778 million. And Minnesota made clear its intention to do a long-term deal in '21. So ... Ngakoue REALLY wanted out of Jax.

I could barely see the knife at the Buffalo protest on the news. I hope the police did not intervene for the same reason. They will need to explain after they see the video , at least it ended no one hurt. The police are still mad two of their officers were charged with pushing the protester in front of City Hall who fell and was injured. The State Trooper who was run over at the Bailey melee also.
