  1. So if the $10 million rollover is only good for 2013, just $7 million for draft picks, that leaves very little to re-sign CJ and Wood to longer higher contracts. If I understand this cap limit. I think Fitz counts $7 million yet in 2014. We don't have much room unless we cut more players.
  2. Kolb was making $12.8 million a year in AZ .Bill' s are not the only team to make mistakes at qb. http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/6812979/arizona-cardinals-complete-trade-philadelphia-eagles-kevin-kolb
  3. Fylnn was a 7th rd pick in 2008. On March 18, 2012, Flynn signed a three-year deal with the Seattle Seahawks worth $19.5 million, with $10 million guaranteed. He's a unknown to me , with so little playing time. " Negatives: Has good accuracy in the short area, but does not have the arm strength to consistently air the ball out...Sometimes telegraphs throws, as he tends to pat it before throwing...Shows good mobility on the move, but is more of a straight-line runner who does not have the change-of-direction agility to quickly hit the cutback lane...Can make some of his deep throws, but those attempts lack velocity and zip to keep it away from the defenders.." http://www.nfl.com/combine/profiles?id=367
  4. It's rebuild time, hopefully they get it right this time. Low expectations, mean less stress for the fans this year. With some of the moves already, Marrone now owns whatever happens next.
  5. Even Carson Palmer 33, $13 million could be on the market if he won't restructure. High paid backups this year.
  6. I think Davis is a train wreck, just draft a healthy TE for a lot less.
  7. That's the way they were born, no problem with me.
  8. Should we take Manti Teo 2nd RD ? We need a LB, he was very naive and wants to prove himself. I would take him at 41 if there, but guess Ravens take him at 32.
  9. I hope you are right about EJ , he is my 1st pick, I just want to give him time as a rookie
  10. EJ is my 1st pick, Geno 2nd at 8 ( but they both need a great OL)
  11. The bills can never have enough IR players on the payroll
  12. I agree, we have to gamble on either of those qbs . With the new rookie pay scale, it won't break the bank if we guess wrong. Any QB we get will need a dominate OL to have a chance. Fitz had enough time for a short pass, and we let Levitre and Rhinehart walk. How many OL pro bowlers do we have now?
  13. If Glennon bulks up and can take a NFL sack with a great OL to protect him, he might go 3rd rd like Nassib. The bill's don't have a all pro OL, especially losing Levitre and Rhinehart.
  14. jboyst62 you are way too humble, keep posting !
  15. Philadelphia Eagles: Geno Smith, QB, West Virginia This is not the surprise pick I promised on Twitter (@walterfootball), but I am going with Geno Smith to the Eagles. It's no secret Philadelphia has serious interest in Smith. Sal Paolantonio first spoke of it on 97.5 the Fanatic. "From what I'm hearing the Eagles are serous about Geno Smith and it's not a smokescreen. They're dead serious," he said. The Eagles then sent their entire contingent to West Virginia's Pro Day. I might as well capitalize ENTIRE because owner Jeffrey Lurie was there too. Lurie has only visited one draft prospect as the Eagles' head boss. That was Donovan McNabb. The Eagles' interest in Smith shouldn't be a surprise. They need a quarterback - the current starter will be around for only one year, while Nick Foles doesn't fit the offense - and Smith would be perfect in Chip Kelly's scheme. http://walterfootbal...m/draft2013.php SiriusXM NFL Radio Scott Pioli on Matt Barkley: My biggest concern is his arm strength. Every ball he throws has some arc on it and the ball needs to be thrown on a line consistently. Oakland #3, Philadelphia #4 picks , I'll stay with EJ or wait till 2014 if Geno and EJ are gone by our 8th pick. I would not gamble and trade up this draft.
  16. jboyst62 You have my respect for your insight and background. I will take your comments seriously , you have one heck of a past. We are very lucky to have a bill's fan like yourself. (now I like sheep too)
  17. I like this plan, lets rebuild one last time. Reload in the future.
  18. Carson is 33, above $5 million I think would be too much, not more then 6th rd pick for trade IMO

  21. Good grief someone I agree with. Plus his drug and legal problems, this is so wrong. Just give me a draft pick TE
  22. $5.4 million last year , Davis tore his Achilles tendon in game 7. I would vote no
  23. If prime receivers are covered long , check down to short pass. I'am not always clear, sorry
