Pettine's resume has shown that he is deserving of a head coaching job for his on-the-field production. But the biggest driving factor behind him getting this job could be that he actually wants the job. Many believe that Pettine's interview process was just a practice run for future head coaching offers, but sources close to the coach claim that he wants the job "BADLY ". I feel better about the Bills future now

I would take a RT at 9 unless someone made us a offer we can't refuse. That decision would be when the Bills are on the clock.

If Byrd did not have PF he would be worth what he is asking, but long term guaranteed money is risky in his case. If he would sign long term with only 1 year at a time guaranteed would be the safest way to go. If the Bills could get a 2nd rd pick for him ,they could draft a reasonable replacement.

I would be ok with a RT in 1st rd, move Pears or Welch to LG.

The Bills are not like the old Raiders being able to cope with unruly good players like Lynch also.

My top priority is OL and LB to stop the run. A couple of good FA also.

The cost to move up like Wash did is too high. I would take best avail at 9 or trade down again if its a deal we can't refuse. Thats how we picked up Kiko last draft.

Thats why we realy need to upgrade the OL thru the draft and FA signing a high priority. Knee braces will keep him in the pocket till that happens, plus a good QB coach, 6'5" WR and another tall TE. Sure would be nice to pick up Graham TE as a FA.

I wonder if Shanahan will coach next season after the mess with Wash. The Jets players went wild when the owner announced Rex would be back. Never saw a coach that well liked by the players.

Thad is durable behind that OL is a big advantage. He is very intelligent ,so he could be a good backup like Fitz.
