  1. If Byrd walks , it could be a compensatory 3rd , ok with me.
  2. EJ learned to run out of bounds. Thad is learning the hard way to protect the ball. Next season looks promising. Not sure at all about Flynn except he is very rich.
  3. The Daily News has learned that Jones, who has had numerous run-ins with the law during his career, made it clear that Nelson would face repercussions for what he perceived as dirty play even if it meant taking matters into his own hands off the field. “I’m going to find out where you live and come and get you,” Jones told Nelson, according to a source. Jones admitted to the Bengals’ official website that he jawed with Rex Ryan in the second half. "He told me to shut the hell up," Jones told Bengals.com. http://www.prosportsdaily.com/articles/pacman-jones-threatens-jets-david-nelson-im-going-to-find-out-where-you-live--272649.html Good for Rex
  4. "Jets David Nelson enjoyed breakout return against Patriots" http://www.metro.us/newyork/sports/nfl/2013/10/23/jets-david-nelson-enjoyed-breakout-return-against-patriots/
  5. Nelson had 8 catches for 80 yards against Bengals. 6'5'' , good hands, 26 yo ,healed, we should have kept him. Now we have to try and cover him when we play the Jets.
  6. If Byrd wants a large signing bonus, I would just let him walk or limp away and take the compensatory pick. His PF is just too unpredictable.
  7. Mike Glennon looks like he has good potential , terrible coaching staff though.
  8. Opportunity to get Choice more playing time . Wish we had roster space to see Wingo. The better depth we develop the better we can survive injuries next season.
  9. You mean no one wants to make Byrd the highest paid safety with PF ?
  10. Interesting article on shortage of qbs http://sports.yahoo.com/news/nfl--rams--wooing-of-brett-favre-demontrates-the-nfl-s-growing-quarterback-problem-132011360.html
  11. Teams will be wheeling and dealing to move up in this next draft to get a QB. Like the mega deal to take RG3. I sure hope we are set with EJ and Thaddeus.
  12. The Vikings made a fatal mistake starting Freeman before he was ready.
  13. "On October 22, 2013, Scheffler was released by the Lions after suffering his third concussion in four years earlier in the month"
  14. It shows how critical a good OL is needed to keep qbs in one piece. Especially with the helmet to helmet rule , defensive players are going for the knees instead.
  15. "Davis has played in four games this season and has three catches for 25 yards. His contract expires at the end the season."
  16. All these injuries, we need a larger roster size commish.
  17. Could wearing knee braces prevent acl or injury like EJ has ?
  18. We might need roster space for Ronnie Wingo if CJ can't play.
  19. Thaddeus looks like a solid backup for now. Hope he improves to the point that some team makes us a offer we can't refuse. That's if EJ is for sure our franchise QB. Only time will tell for both. So far so good.
  20. While we are at it, let Gilmore heal also.
  21. Miami had a bye week to heal and get ready. The Bills coped with the heat and humidity really well. I have no complaints with this win, well done!
  22. Phillips picked up the nickname Bum as a child when his younger sister couldn't pronounce brother correctly and it sounded like bum. He embraced the nickname and was quoted as saying: "I don't mind being called Bum, just as long as you don't put a 'you' in front of it." "Football is a game of failure," Phillips was quoted as saying. "You fail all the time, but you aren't a failure until you start blaming someone else." http://www.sportingnews.com/nfl/story/2013-10-19/former-oilers-coach-bum-phillips-dies-at-90
  23. The Bills have a lot of potential starting next season. Another good draft , recover from injuries more experience. This year is our turning point.
  24. Oail Andrew "Bum" Phillips (September 29, 1923 – October 18, 2013) was an American football coach and the father of Wade Phillips, the defensive coordinator for the Houston Texans. A good man and coach , RIP
  25. Case Keenum will be Houston's starting quarterback when the Texans play at Kansas City this week, coach Gary Kubiak announced Thursday. Matt Schaub injured his ankle against the Rams last week, paving the way for the undrafted Keenum to make his first career start. Through the first six weeks of the season, T.J. Yates had been the Texans No. 2 quarterback, but Yates struggled against the Rams, throwing two interceptions in less than one half of action. Yates will be the backup quarterback against the Chiefs while Schaub won't play at all. http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/eye-on-football/24097327/undrafted-qb-case-keenum-will-be-texans-starter-against-chiefs
