Case Keenum will be Houston's starting quarterback when the Texans play at Kansas City this week, coach Gary Kubiak announced Thursday. Matt Schaub injured his ankle against the Rams last week, paving the way for the undrafted Keenum to make his first career start. Through the first six weeks of the season, T.J. Yates had been the Texans No. 2 quarterback, but Yates struggled against the Rams, throwing two interceptions in less than one half of action. Tuel needs a lot more time to develop if it happens at all. Flynn is here if Thaddeus gets hurt before EJ returns. Hope the game played by Flynn for Oakland was a fluke. Then we have Tuel who knows the playbook.

ALLEN PARK, Mich. -- The Detroit Lions parted ways with special teams coordinator Danny Crossman. He has already joined the Buffalo Bills in the same capacity, the Bills announced Monday. The team announced Monday that Crossman would not return next season. Crossman's coaching was scrutinized after Detroit became the first team since at least 1940 to give up a kickoff and a punt return for touchdowns in consecutive games last season.

This team shows good potential for next season if they can stay healthy. Another good draft , coaches with more experince, not sure about ST coach. The injuries this season are just too many.

Byrd had 1 good blocked pass, did not notice him after that (on tv) I don't think his trade value went up or he is any where near #1 safety after this game.

It might be a good idea to extend his contract now. RFA in 2014.

We have him till the end of the season when he will be a FA. Trading him before Oct 29 would not be a good option unless someone made us a offer we can't refuse (we won't make the playoffs)

Legursky has better leverage being shorter then Brown . Woods had a couple bounce off his chest, but they did ok without SJ today. Chandler looked good also .

At least Legursky was playing well. I look forward to next season after another good draft. Thad has good potential ,even playing with a injured foot.

This is a rebuilding, non playoff year for the bills. Lets see what Easley and other backups can do and give them some exprience,
