  1. The Giants really do need to see if Davis Webb has enough potential to be a starter and be able to trade down to help rebuild. McAdoo is more like Mr MaGoo
  2. "I don't know that [playing the other QBs] will give us all the info, but it's better than nothing," Mara said, per NJ.com. "Obviously, we'll have a high draft pick and there will be QBs available." http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000885229/article/giants-owner-no-guarantees-ben-mcadoos-job-is-safe It would cost a lot of draft picks to move up the next draft . Browns should tell him off the record they will take Rosen so he could go #2 . You can't predict a big trade up especially this year after seeing Goff and Wentz look well worth it. RG3 oops
  3. Andrew Jackson was called ‘Indian killer.’ Trump honored Navajos in front of his portrait. Jackson is known for his harsh treatment of Native Americans as president, famously signing the Indian Removal Act, which led to thousands of Native American deaths as tens of thousands were forced to relocate. Some observers thought the juxtaposition of his portrait during the event with the stated purpose of honoring three Navajo code talkers was strange. https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/retropolis/wp/2017/11/28/andrew-jackson-was-called-indian-killer-trump-honored-navajos-in-front-of-his-portrait/
  4. If Eli is released Saint Doug might be interested.
  5. It's a tank job for the next draft. Geno better then Eli Bye McAdoo
  6. Cover Gronk like they did Kelce , is one item. Brady gets rid of the ball too fast to leave any of his receivers uncovered.
  7. Time to keep players out of sight during the anthem and stop Thursday night football except 1st game of season then when 2 teams come off bye week.
  8. Just shut down all key injured players Cordy, Kelvin and any other till next season.
  9. That horrid 3 game losing streak has me worried . Can't predict after seeing that mess.
  10. Taylor's abilities were better used by Lynn Kromer had the OL get the best running game. These new schemes do not fit the players. Taylor is a bridge who is being used wrong
  11. This would be a good one
  12. His contract is less then $1M for this season, well worth it
  13. If they are out of the hunt and if the OL can pass protect by then. Taylor is durable if you let him scramble and run. A pocket passer behind the present OL scheme does not have a chance
  14. I'm not a believer yet, but getting another new HC and GM and scheme changes again would be a worse disaster imo. Replacing some of his coaching staff would make more sense.
  15. We could have had Watson or Mahomes without trading up . I sure hope he can judge college QBs
  16. It's going to take years to rebuild this team to fit new schemes.
  17. A blueprint for the QB-needy "You have to find a way to win games with a youngster, which may require using some of their college stuff early in their careers ... Some coaches will resist doing it, but if you're going to win with a young guy, you need to meet them halfway." The Rams are really the team that others should watch, based on Goff's transformation this season under first-year head coach Sean McVay. The second-year passer was widely viewed as a bust after a dismal seven-game showing as a rookie, but the team's new head coach has helped him play at an MVP level this year. McVay's clever scheming has put Goff in his comfort zone and increased his big-play production while reducing his miscues. He has blended some quicks and Air Raid staples into a game plan that also features a play-action passing game stocked with vertical routes. http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000882364/article/a-blueprint-for-the-qbneedy-saints-making-most-of-drew-brees
  18. The QB evaluations vary everywhere. Maybe the combine will help. http://walterfootball.com/draft2018QB.php The top-four draft-eligible quarterback prospects for the 2018 NFL Draft are USC's Sam Darnold, Louisville's Lamar Jackson, Wyoming's Josh Allen and Rosen. Of them, Rosen has the best mechanics and is the most natural pocket passer. He throws a tremendous ball and can really spin it. Rosen's tight spiral helps him to get his passes through tight windows and beat good coverage. He has serious arm talent along with field vision and pocket presence. Rosen also works under center, which has been rare to see with college quarterbacks in recent years. He has also illustrated that he has some faults and isn't a dual-threat running quarterback
  19. If the Bills trade up for a QB it may take longer then 3 years and that's ok with me. No more scheme changes (except OL) If only a good QB fell to the Bills without trading up the rebuild would speed up.
  20. I just hope the new scouting staff , Beane and McD make the right choice.
  21. That cover 1 explanation is amazing. Shows how much more the Bills need for new schemes.
  22. I would give up the 2 ones and a 2nd but someone would outbid that for Rosen
  23. Putting a pocket passer behind the Bill's OL is not a good idea. That int in and out of the hands of DiMarco , and Bosa are too much for a rookie. Until the OL can pass protect keep Peterman out.
  24. I want to stay with McD and Beane at least 5 years. Unless you want to replace the OL with players that fit Castillo's scheme , then replace Castillo. The biggest priority is getting the best scouting dept possible. Whaley was good at finding available veteran players.
  25. Jim Irsay told Tony Dungy that Andrew Luck's injury is 'inside his head' Worth noting: This was during one of the commercial cut-ins of the show and, as Patrick noted Tuesday, it is very possible/likely that Dungy did not know his mic was on. Paul Pabst of the show reached out to Dungy to confirm the quotes Tuesday, and relayed that Dungy heard the comments from Irsay during a "group conversation in September." https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/jim-irsay-told-tony-dungy-that-andrew-lucks-injury-is-inside-his-head/ Ex-Colts linebacker thinks Andrew Luck's NFL career is over despite GM's comments During a recent interview on NFL Network's Good Morning Football, former Colts player D'Qwell Jackson was asked when he thought Luck would be back on the field and he had ominous answer "I don't think we are [going to see Luck again]. I don't think we are," Jackson said. "If you take a step back, if you look at most guys' injuries around the league, if they been out for eight, nine, 10 months, you're talking career-ending injuries. No one's mentioned that." The crazy thing about Jackson's comments is that he made them on Oct. 28, a full five days before the Colts made Thursday's decision to place their star quarterback on injured reserve. https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/ex-colts-linebacker-thinks-andrew-lucks-nfl-career-is-over-despite-gms-comments/ Report: Andrew Luck seeking treatment on shoulder in Europe Updated Nov. 11, 2017 https://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/nfl/colts/2017/11/11/andrew-luck-shoulder-treatment-europe-indianapolis-colts/855297001/
