Dubious Fox News article appears to have sparked Trump attack on Obama "Just out that Obama Administration granted citizenship, during the terrible Iran Deal negotiation, to 2,500 Iranians - including to government officials," Trump tweeted. "How big (and bad) is that?" But after Fox News published its story, other outlets, primarily in the conservative media space, published similar stories. Those outlets included The Daily Mail, The Gateway Pundit, and TownHall. The claims were also shared on Twitter by Fox News host Sean Hannity and frequent Fox guests David Clarke and Charlie Kirk. On Tuesday morning, just hours before Trump's tweet, the story made its way to Fox News' airwaves on "Fox & Friends First," the network's early morning show. It also later aired on "America's Newsroom," a late-morning news program on Fox News. "He had every opportunity to call people in his own Department of Homeland Security and State Department to ask whether or not this was true. And they would have told him it wasn't," Sullivan added. "Instead, he relies on Fox News. And the scary thing is that he's increasingly relying on sources like Fox News to get his intelligence rather than the professionals in his own government." Prescott shared with CNN immigration data from the Department of Homeland Security which showed that the number of Iranians naturalized in the United States over the course of the Obama and Bush administrations was relatively consistent. http://money.cnn.com/2018/07/03/media/fox-news-trump-obama-iran-deal/index.html -

GM warns on car tariffs: Customers will feel impact German automakers are said to be urging the Trump administration and the EU to set car tariffs to 0%. The U.S. currently charges a 2.5% tariff on EU cars, while the EU’s tariff on American vehicles is 10%. “Moreover, it is likely that some of the vehicles that will be hardest hit by tariff-driven price increases—in the thousands of dollars—are often purchased by customers who can least afford to absorb a higher vehicle price point.” https://www.foxbusiness.com/markets/gm-warns-on-car-tariffs-customers-will-feel-impact

The EU Is Preparing Enormous New Tariffs on U.S. Goods if Trump Follows Through on His Cars Threat The European Union is reportedly preparing to slap tariffs on up to $300 billion of U.S. products, if the White House goes ahead with its threatened tariffs on auto imports from the EU. This is based on a letter, reported by the Financial Times, from the European Commission to the U.S. Commerce Department. So far, the EU has only imposed duties on $3.2 billion of U.S. products such as whiskey and peanut butter, as retaliation for President Trump’s tariffs on imported European steel and aluminum. China is preparing to hit the U.S. with tariffs on products worth $34 billion, and Canada is throwing duties on U.S. products of around $12.5 billion. http://fortune.com/2018/07/02/eu-300-billion-tariffs-trump-auto-threat/

NFL Network's Gil Brandt is hearing that one NFL team believes Western Michigan cornerback Sam Beal would have been taken in the second round had he entered the 2018 NFL Draft. As a result of the delay, Brandt is hearing that Beal will likely be taken in the third round of the 2018 NFL Supplemental Draft which takes place July 11. Brandt also noted that the Buffalo Bills and Cleveland Browns are two teams to watch as possible suitors for Beal because they have extra picks in Rounds Three and Four in the 2019 NFL Draft At his Pro Day earlier this week, Beal ran a wind assisted 4.40 in the 40 yard dash as well as a 4.55 second 40 yard dash against the wind. Beal was considered a first round talent in the 2019 NFL Draft. Bleacher Report mocked him to the Green Bay Packers No. 25 overall. Bleacher Report's Matt Miller recently reported that he is hearing Beal could be taken in the second round but the third round is more likely. "He's becoming what the NFL is looking for. A tall guy that can run and can play press coverage. We play press coverage here," Sanchez said. https://247sports.com/nfl/cleveland-browns/Article/Gil-Brandt-pegs-Bills-Browns-as-suitors-for-Sam-Beal-119505412/ I wonder how good is he at zone cover.

Air pollution linked to 3.2 million new diabetes cases in one year In the United States, air pollution was linked to 150,000 new cases of diabetes per year. "There's an undeniable relationship between diabetes and and particle air pollution levels well below the current safe standards," said senior study author Dr. Ziyad Al-Aly, an assistant professor of medicine at Washington University. "Many industry lobbying groups argue that current levels are too stringent and should be relaxed. Evidence shows that current levels are still not sufficiently safe and need to be tightened." Over 30 million Americans have diabetes, and the numbers worldwide are staggering: According to WHO, 422 million adults had been diagnosed by 2014, compared with 108 million in 1980. https://www.cnn.com/2018/06/29/health/air-pollution-diabetes-study/index.html -

Left-wing candidate Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador set to win Mexico presidential election as rivals concede A left-wing populist who has railed against President Trump's immigration policies in no uncertain terms appeared to have won a comprehensive victory in Mexico's presidential election Sunday night, with both of his main rivals conceding before the first official results were announced. In between, Lopez Obrador has ripped the Trump administration's policy of separating families who cross the border illegally as "arrogant, racist and inhuman." He's also vowed to roll back some of outgoing President Enrique Pena Nieto's policies toward Central American migrants who cross Mexico's own southern border, saying that his government would no longer do Trump's "dirty work." http://www.foxnews.com/world/2018/07/01/left-wing-candidate-andres-manuel-lopez-obrador-set-to-win-mexico-presidential-election-as-rivals-concede.html -

The hope is for Daboll to keep OL as basic as possible till they find the best combination of players to be in sync. Final cut down from other teams , free agency and draft in 2019 . I like Teller at LG once he is ready and Groy back at C. Miller back at RG in his type of scheme. RT is still the ? mark . Just keep Allen on the bench till the OL can pass protect.

I just can't imagine some politicians wanting to eliminate ICE . They do go after serious criminals like MS 13 and similar. Right now they may be ordered to go after all illegals. I just want them to focus for now on high priority criminals who break laws beside crossing the border. -

maybe not German air force in dire straits: chief of staff WORLD NEWSJUNE 27, 2018 Sabine Siebold BERLIN (Reuters) - NATO member Germany’s air force is in dire straits and funds are urgently needed to modernize its weaponry and systems, the air force chief of staff said on Wednesday. A February ministry report showed only 39 of 128 Eurofighter jets were available for training and combat use last year on average, and just 26 of 93 older-model Tornado fighter jets. Defence Minister Ursula von der Leyen has been pressing for increased spending after Scholz’s previous longer-term plan called for military outlays to edge lower after reaching 1.3 percent of economic output in 2019, up from 1.2 percent now. Von der Leyen has pledged that German military spending will reach 1.5 percent of gross domestic product by 2025. https://www.reuters.com/article/us-germany-military/german-air-force-in-dire-straits-chief-of-staff-idUSKBN1JN318 -

Obama, at Beverly Hills fundraiser, says GOP 'mad even when they win' During an expensive fundraiser in Beverly Hills on Thursday night, former President Barack Obama accused “the other side” of being “angry all the time.” “They’re mad even when they win. Have you noticed that?” Obama said during a conversation with Democratic National Committee Chairman Tom Perez, the Los Angeles Times reported. “To a large degree, we are seeing a competition between two stories,” Obama said, according to the Times. “There’s the story that is based largely on fear, and there is a story based largely in hope. There’s the story that says we’re in it together, and there’s the story that says there’s an us and a them.” He also cautioned his fellow Democrats against taking for granted that their frustration with Republican leadership in Washington will coalesce in a “blue wave” of votes at the polls in November. “I would caution us from extrapolating too much from a bunch of special elections and starting to think that, ‘OK, this will take care of itself.’ Because it won’t,” Obama said. “Fear is powerful,” the former president added, suggesting that the emotion helps motivate Republican voters. http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2018/06/29/obama-at-beverly-hills-fundraiser-says-gop-mad-even-when-win.html

Kim Jong Un ordered army officer executed after giving soldiers extra food: report North Korean leader Kim Jong Un reportedly ordered a high ranking army officer to be executed after he was accused of giving extra food and fuel rations to troops and their families. Daily NK reported that Hyon Ju Song, the lieutenant general of the Korean People’s Army in the country’s capital, Pyongyang, was executed by a firing squad for “charges of abusing authority and engaging in anti-Party acts.” “While checking the oil supplies for the Sohae Satellite Launching Station during the comprehensive inspections of wartime supplies on April 10, Hyon stated, ‘We no longer have to suffer and tighten our belts to make rockets or nuclear weapons.’ This was seen as an abuse of authority and a treasonous statement that opposed the Party’s military-first policy,” a source told Daily NK. http://www.foxnews.com/world/2018/06/28/kim-jong-un-ordered-army-officer-executed-after-giving-soldiers-extra-food-report.html -
