  1. Yeah maybe he’d be able to generate more pressure as a power rusher is what I meant.
  2. Maybe they should let him get back up to 275 and see if that is a better playing weight for him.
  3. Yeah I saw that post. He lost his first move? But what was his first move? It should have been a bull rush and plow right through Bolden to the QB. But he didn't really do anything. There was a big play there to be made and he didn't deliver imo.
  4. Does anyone else in here mess around with crypto?
  5. On the third play from scrimmage last Sunday vs. New England (3rd and 10), TE fires through the A gap untouched. Brandon Bolden steps up in the pocket to pick him up. Edmunds has a full head of steam. Bolden is 5-11 220, about 6 inches shorter and 30 pounds lighter than TE. I thought Edmunds was going to steamroll him and either sack Jones or totally disrupt the play. Instead, he kind of lets up, gets stonewalled and even gets pushed back a few yards. That was a great spot for him to make a splash play and set the tone. But he came up so flat on that play. I'm not saying he had a bad game, I think he had a nice game. But I don't see him bull rushing or running around any NFL offensive tackles.
  6. Active QBs only? Or literally any QB ever?
  7. Line played very well. I feel like it was just as much Josh evading dudes. I was surprised when I saw the amount of pressures they actually got on Josh.
  8. If Josh can keep gutting teams with these quick check downs and flat routes, he's going to be an absolute menace. I was driving back home from the mountains during the game, so I was listening to it live on Sirius XM. It was a New England broadcast and they were absolutely astonished how they were Josh those easy yards. Did anyone else listen to that and know who the broadcasters were? One guy was pretty annoying. He kept calling McD "Papa Smurf". Wasn't sure if that was because some refer to Belichick as Gargamel. But man it was satisfying to hear Josh keep ripping out their souls with all of those big time plays.
  9. I am Jacks defensive coordinator.
  10. Yes! Finally my fantasy football name makes sense. "Covid Beasley". Disclaimer. I respect his decisions, just thought it was a funny name.
  11. A lot better than cardinal fans feel.
  12. Yes. Commit to a running game period. DS seems to be the best option.
  13. I’ve been asking for this forever. Just like once a year or even every other year. But it is not a very popular idea amongst the board lol.
  14. Yes unfortunately serious. In another thread I said Josh would thrive in a Kyle Shannahan dynamic run-heavy, play action style offense. Some responded saying they would lose their mind if we were a run first team with a qb like Josh and given his contract.
  15. Won't happen. We're not that lucky.
  16. Oh but some posters freak out when they think of this team trying to establish the run when were paying Josh 258 mil... John Elway couldn't win a SB without a running game.
  17. I think there are 2 paths you can take. 1) Increase the surveillance. Add extra refs on the field and/or add cameras watching closely all players. Increased reviewing capabilities. DPI / offensive & defensive holding / facemask, personal fouls etc, maybe all. Reviews will then be sent to about 15 people simultaneously, who are not in proximity with each other, where they 90 seconds to make their call and the popular vote wins. This would lead to longer games, with choppy game flow, possibly a more boring product. But the games would be more fairly called. 2) Minimize the effect the officials have on the game. No more game changing penalties. No more automatic 1st downs. So on 3rd and 25, if there's interference on a 7 yard out, it's 3rd and 18. Max yardage on PI is 15 yards. Offensive holding, chop block is 5 yards. Officials are encouraged to only call blatant and obvious penalties. Nothing borderline or ticky tacky that would have no effect on the play. This would lead to a more loose game with better game flow, more exciting product and the best part, the refs would have very little impact on the outcome of the game. Also, in both cases, refs are to wear body or head cams. And they are to be made available for post game pressers. Borderline calls/ no calls should not effect the outcome of the game. It's like the refs want to be the stars of the show. But it should actually be the opposite. We should barely know they're there.
  18. Very odd. Even though it seems teams play us with more zone, that's still an alarmingly low number.
  19. Really? You're happy with the run defense and pass rush? You're confident this unit can hold up against playoff teams?
  20. Refs should wear body cams.. or head cams. This absolutely should be a thing.
  21. He was pretty banged up last year. Plus Steelers OL
  22. Stafford dropping dimes
