So far it looks like Von Miller is impressed with Buffalo.

hmm i seeeee -
It's unanimous. If Tom retired 5 years ago he would still be considered the best ever. Now he's mid 40's putting up better numbers than pretty much everyone in the league and no signs of slowing down. He could probably play until 50 (if he gets his wife to sign the permission slip). He already owns every record, what more is there to prove to anyone?

Huge win for progressives!!!

Yes until they allow for full contact cornhole which is how it usually goes down after a few beers -
And this guy went to college?

[Please Change Title] I'm sorry but what a moron

Less expectations in Pittsburgh. He likes to read and go on day trips and learn about different topics and now he will have more time to do those things while the Bills are in the playoffs every year -
That's why he ditched them to join the best team in the league to try and get a free ring. No respect for that guy. How would you like Diggs to say Bills won't ever do it I'm going to KC

Don't have to be to be fraudulent
-
Lol they are both frauds. Both were expected to change a franchise but just whined and complained the whole time instead. Poor leadership skills

Josh Allen Rookie card sold for $264, 000, value is now at $312,000

Bad take. This is not disposable income. Disposable income is when you spend $10,000 to take a family trip to Hawaii. That money is gone forever. Someone bought this as an asset and they are speculating that it will some day be worth MORE than what they paid. It's an investment whether you agree with the vehicle or not. Some people have money in a 401k, some have it in their house, some have it in their car. Everyone's priorities are different so let them do what they want. For all you know someone emptied their retirement savings to buy this hoping it will some day be worth double. You think the 1% is buying up all of the football cards lol? I used to buy and sell Rolex watches I certainly couldn't afford at the time, putting my entire savings into them. I'd make sometimes $500-1000 flipping them to other buyers. If someone saw me with a different expensive watch every week they might have thought how dare he spend that much on a stupid watch when people are struggling and they would have been very wrong about my situation. I'm not in the 1% either and I don't know anyone who is. There is definitely some wealth inequality but it's a very very small few who have unimaginable wealth like that but they also create jobs for us. I try to mind my own business and worry about my own situation. Nothing stopping any of us from buying some cards and selling them ourselves. You don't need to spend $300k to get into this hobby/business that's for sure and everyone has to start somewhere. -

What years did he have mostly? I was a kid in the early 90's and I was told those years are basically worthless because they produced so many. Just my luck -

A Josh Allen football card just sold for $312,000!!! I can think of a lot of other things I'd rather buy for 300 large but goes to show that JA17 is a star in the making https://twitter.com/GoldinCo/status/1512985275194130432?t=BGZnWriNTPcVZE6QadVXiw&s=19 -
Gifted multiple rings, absolutely. You can't just join a dynasty team and then be the reason they won. That's silly. The Eichel thing was clearly over your head so you will just have to let it go man lol
-
He LED a team to 2 rings? What? He hopped on the bus of one of the greatest teams in history that was already on the way to winning multiple championships. And you said I had a wild take, lol. The Warriors were already great before him
-
Yea sorry you aren't getting that I'm just comparing them as big cry babies who can't lead a team. Never said Eichel was even half the player. KD will never win again unless he joins another super team. He's not "the man" like that. Very good player though
-
In that they are both spoiled babies. Eichel is a name people on this board will know and relate to. Durant had to join a super team to win his rings and he wasn't the star on those teams. This is all in the subsequent posts, keep reading
-
It's funny to me that you insinuated best player from "top athlete." It's not very specific what they are taking into account. Best now, best career, most popular? Cole is the best pitcher on the Yankees but not really a star. Judge is the star. My wife knows Judge but probably can't name 5 other players in the league. Scherzer is on his last leg and that's why he plays for the Mets. From a personality standpoint he's not Yankees material anyhow. He's a legit crazy person.
-
Sounds like you didn't read what I wrote. I said I'm interpreting this as biggest star, biggest name. Sounds like you are interpreting as best player. If you read my last post you would have seen that. Does that not answer your question? The biggest star on the Yankees is almost always bigger than the biggest star on any other team including the Mets. The Mets are the other NY team just like the Jets.
-
I would say he's 1B only because it's so early in his career. If we get over the hump and go to the super bowl this year then he's the clear #1 for me
-
The Yankees are a team with an unparalleled history in sports. They aren't like any other team. Choose 2 other teams in any other sport and you might be right. Everyone can name the best Yankees in history. You will be hard pressed to find someone who isn't a big fan that can recall the great Mets. If you want to be a star and have a legacy you play for the Yankees. If you just want to play baseball you play for any other team. Aaron Judge is a huge star who people all over the world know. I find it hard to believe he would be #10 on this list. I'm a baseball fan and I couldn't pick DeGrom out of a lineup and I would only know Scherzer because of his weird eyes. I'm interpreting this poll as who is the biggest star and it sounds like maybe you are interpreting it as who is the best player
-
Baseball is different, there's no salary cap and Yankees can afford anyone they want. Who chooses the Mets over the Yankees? Or Jets over Giants given the choice? You go to the Yankees and put on the pinstripes you are expected to win. If you aren't top of your game anymore or don't want the pressure then go to the Mets, sure.
-
Biggest star on the Yankees is almost always going to be a bigger star than anyone on the Mets. Just facts. Just like when Brett Favre went to play for the Jets, it's still the Jets. The Mets can add any old cy young pitchers they want and they are still the Mets as we have seen. It's where careers go to fizzle out and die
-
You mean the perfect game? You would think so but my friends of other teams didn't even know that it happened and that was just a few months ago. Didn't really get a lot of publicity around the league
-
My readers? I said the readers as in people who read the forum posts. You sound like someone who reads something and then twists it up in your head to make yourself right so no use in continuing here as it will be misconstrued in some weird way. And PS Durant is still an overrated cry baby 👍
