How is this possible? They are tied for 31st in points allowed with Seattle. The only team that has allowed more points is Detroit. Unless those points allowed were offensive turnovers resulting in TDs, I just don't see it. BYE weeks account for some of it, but thats only 4 teams.

Lil' Dummy McKenzie.........offical team character builder
What a Tuel replied to BADOLBILZ's topic in The Stadium Wall
No, its crazy. He had a rough game. This is an overreaction. -
That should go to tell you that we will criticize the officiating win or lose because its bad officiating and not because we lost.

Singletary had like 5 yards a carry. Arguing he isnt good at the moment is a bad take.

How often do they call holding for what they were calling defensive holding on? So ticky tack like the replays showed it and it was like, that happens every damn play. Except somehow it extends chiefs dead drives at least twice for automatic 1st downs. Then no tripping call. No block in the back on the punt immediately after the no tripping call. Refs gave the chiefs every opportunity to win this.

Is this the same Browns team that allowed Flacco to look like his old self? Flacco 26/44 307 yards 4 tds

If we would have lost to them then the Jags game wouldnt have mattered. So this game does determine something. The actual comparison to last year is the Titans game and we would have had #1 seed last year if we won that one. Meaning we would have played KC in AFC Championship game in Buffalo if all else played out the same (we would've likely had to beat the bengals in divisional round first). We wouldn't have gotten that sweet sweet patriot blowout though so thats a silver lining.

If Allen stays healthy, will Bills win 11 in a row?

You sound sad that the Bills are good. -

We've scored more points than anyone (depending on what the chiefs do tonight) We've allowed less points than anyone except the niners. The team is good and it is ok to believe it is good without throwing out explanations why we aren't sure they are good yet (like the steelers are 29th ranked defense). -
What's funny is that if this was a determining factor in the Bills losing or something, people would say the thread is just whining about the loss. This just goes to show we talk about literally everything on this forum, its far more active than most of the nfl team forums.

Difference between Josh Allen and Matt Barkley is far more significant of a drop off than Tua to Skyler. But yes it is very impactful to the chances of winning. I think most of us just laugh because they celebrated like its 1999 and had zero room for our "injury excuses" so we will leave no room for theirs.

Eh Romo was on everyones nerves hyping up Pickett at the beginning of the game I think. Like is this a Bills home game or what? The talking up of the guy before he even threw a ball was nauseating.

If I told you... (Injury Reflections)
What a Tuel replied to Captain Caveman's topic in The Stadium Wall
This take just makes no sense. The one thing the Bills have consistent with is an absurd number of multiple score wins over opponents. You slice out a half here and a half there to show the Bills didn't do much in those periods? Fine. But what freaking team doesn't have that? As for injuries not playing into the outcome of the games as others have said, the healthy week 1 bills that played the rams obliterate the fish. Its asinine to believe it had no effect on this game (along with the crappy heat stroke games, Miami gets to play.) -
Have you looked at their injury report? This also doesn't include TJ Watt being out. Wednesday, October 5 CB Cameron Sutton (Groin/Hamstring) - LP CB Ahkello Witherspoon (Hamstring) - DNP CB Levi Wallace (Foot) - LP S Terrell Edmunds (Concussion) - DNP S Minkah Fitzpatrick (Knee) - DNP DL Chris Wormley (Ankle) - LP DT Cameron Heyward (Ankle/Elbow) - LP

Singletary was close to fumbling with seconds remaining
What a Tuel replied to Einstein's topic in The Stadium Wall
I find this thread to be hilarious because the very people ranting about an "almost" fumble would be the first people to shut down a conversation about an almost pick six in a loss as "should have, could have, would have" -
No but you asked "what else can he say" about Singletary and I'd say raving about him for 45 seconds out of a 6.5 minute post conference says a lot. Pretty sure it was the longest answer out of any of the questions.
-
What did he say about Moss then?
-
That was my thoughts during this game. No way they convert that 3rd and 22 with Hyde and Poyer in the game.
-
Wish Hyde was going to come back. I can deal with the temporary injuries but the "what if" of how much better would the defense be if completely healthy is scary. Is there any confirmation on Hyde and zero chance for return for playoffs? At least Oliver, Phillips, and White will be back.

Bills Never Win Close Games, Bad Coaching!
What a Tuel replied to DieHardBillsFan's topic in The Stadium Wall
Wait are you going back to 2020 and only counting half of the games? By my count since 2020 we are: 2020 7-2 in 1 score games and 8-2 in 2+ score games. 2021 0-6 in 1 score games 12-1 in 2+ score games. 2022 1-1 in 1 score games and 2-0 in 2+ score games. For a grand total of 8-9 in 1 score games and 23-3 in 2+ score games from last 3 years. -
To be fair, last 2 years we were close to a Super Bowl too and didn't have injuries (besides White which may have tipped the scales)
