  1. I guess you need to clarify because to me at least "making sure we have the horses" means upgrading the position. If you are talking depth then sure it wouldn't hurt to grab an upgrade over Moss if there is one available, but it sounds more like you don't think Singletary has the horses to be the guy when the wind is blowing.
  2. Isnt this basically what the Chargers did and it isnt working out the greatest. Went out and got Mack and Jackson to go with Bosa and doesn't seem to be having the dominant effect everyone thought.
  3. I kind of feel bad for Singletary. He plays his heart out for the team and actually does pretty dang good and there is just this constant talk about him being the weak link and replacing him. Depth is one thing but just constantly trying to replace him right after he gets 5 yards a carry in the most important game of the regular season, just feels bad.
  4. IMO Jacobs isnt an upgrade. Grass is always greener. Feel like Singletary has done more with less.
  5. The goal is to hit on those picks, not to retroactively plan on missing on them and giving future ones away...
  6. Eagles defense isnt as good as a healthy 49ers defense. Only difference with the offense is qb play which is big but Hurts isnt unbeatable. 49ers have much better weapons.
  7. Weird statement. The 49ers were in the NFCCG last year and are 3-3 right now leading their division.
  8. Did anyone post this where Von Miller is quoted as doubling down that OBJ is coming to the Bills?
  9. If only we could find a way to defend against Kelce. No idea why he is just consistently open every single time we play them. It is infuriating.
  10. And outside of that, they beat the Dolphins with a 3rd string rookie QB. One good win against the Packers. The hype is unreal.
  11. I cant wait until Josh obliterates them in Dec.
  12. So is the question, should we still be worried even though we won? Seems like you are talking yourself into still being worried, which is fine because nothing is a given until those seeds are locked in. The win was critical to getting the #1 seed for sure. It would be tough to get a game ahead of the chiefs if we had lost. Now that we are a game ahead, it seems like as long as we dont have a couple jaguars games, we should be ok, but any given sunday for both us and the chiefs.
  13. There is no correlation between being the mvp and not winning the Super Bowl though. For every MVP Aaron Rodgers failing in the playoffs, there is 12 other non mvp qbs who also fail.
  14. The renovations finished for the 2016 season. The advantage IS new and there are only a handful of home september games in the last 7 years in which weather was this brutal. You are a troll. You have to be. The win or loss is irrelavent dude. Why can't you see past that? Had we won, the same topic would have been brought up. Just like officiating in the KC game was brought up, but if we lost the KC game you guys would make the same stupid argument that we only talk about it because we lost. Get off that point because it isn't why it is a discussion.
  15. At this point you are just trolling. The Bills almost won too, and no one is arguing they should change anything bc the bills lost. People are arguing bc this advantage is stupid, dangerous, and not in the spirit of the game. Plain and simple, if the damn stadium shades the home bench then the visitor bench should not be banned from bringing shade (small tents to cover their bench. Edit: Also, this has not been an advantage for decades. The Stadium renovations that provided this advantage finished in 2016. So that is what? Between 12-16 September home games in the last 7 years? Subtract the games that weren't actually that hot or had decent cloud cover and we are talking single digit number of games that had this effect. This is why it hasn't been talked about. All anyone is saying is allow some respite from the heat on the sideline for player safety before someone gets seriously injured or dies playing in 120 degree temparatures exerting huge amount of physical energy. Its going to be a tragedy if something isnt done.
  16. Agree, but I bet during the years with the bottom one, Miami didn't dictate that opposing teams couldn't have misting benches and tents as they probably used them themselves or their players would revolt haha. Fans however yeah that would surely suck to stand in for 4 hours, but at least they aren't exerting the physical activity of playing NFL football, and can walk into the concourse for some respite.
  17. Pegulas should tap their buddy Wilf in Minnesota to approach the NFL about this for a rule change. The stadium pavillion should count as a tent/shade and allow visiting team to erect something to provide the same benefit. If it comes from the Pegulas, we will get the same douchiness from the rest of the country that we are getting from our own fans. "iTs OnLy cUz yOu LoSt"
  18. Pretty sure in the last couple years the Dolphins renovated their upper part of the stadium that gains this advantage. As a result just recently we started seeing them take advantage of the shade it brings their side and dictating that the opposing sidelines cannot have amenities such as pavillion tents for shade that they dont use.
  19. 100% for this for as long as the Dolphins practice this nonsense. They actually do. As far as I know they can decline visitor sideline from using tents, misting benches etc even if they bring their own, so long as their side don't use them. It just so happens they don't have to use them because their side is shaded and 30 degrees cooler. They did decline the Bills from utilizing them when we played.
  20. No. The equivalent comparison would be that the Bills have an enclosed sideline that is somehow naturally heated, while the Dolphins sit exposed to the freezing temperatures and snow and the Bills say sorry you cant use heated benches or giant heaters because we don't. Its just a dumb advantage that is going to get someone hurt. Players should have adequate respite on the sideline.
  21. Did you even read what I wrote? I dont care that we lost, we will smash them in December. The point is it is a stupid advantage that does not rely on players being conditioned better but that one side gets shade and the other one doesnt.
  22. Its not about winning or losing. The bills very nearly won too. Its just a stupid idea to have one shaded sideline and one not, and then say you cant have tents or any shade because we don't use it.
  23. This really needs to be addressed. Let the players play on the field on equal footing but the "you cant have tent shade because we dont use tents on our shaded side" is absolutely absurd. It isnt about winning or losing, its just unnecessary.
