  1. What, and throw out all those years spent gerrymandering her little slice of heaven?
  2. How did they know she resembled the Virgin Mary? I'd have picked a nice Jewish girl, not a Mexican.
  3. Yeah, but with the money he is saving, think of how many tennis bracelets he can buy for Mary!
  4. Um... it's a phrase used to describe anyone who is effin loony. You know, people that make out with their siblings, wear vials of blood around their necks, travel to foreign lands and steal babies. Wing-nut. Crazie. Psycho. Loonie. Crayonz.
  5. She's better looking that that wing-nut Jolie.
  6. Very much so.
  7. It at least gives me something to go on. Thanks.
  8. I'm generally pretty reluctant to ask for legal advice on the internet, but I figured I'd get some thoughts from people around here. My wife's sister died recently, and was living in NC. Her mother is in this area (WNY). The sister had no significant other, no children, etc. The family (mom, my wife, and other sister) are in 100% agreement about what should be done with any remaining assets. That being said, there was no will. So regarding bank accounts, car, etc., should they contact a lawyer, or given that there should be no counter-claims to any of the assets, will they be able to do this on their own? Also, any knowledge of what should be done with her auto (1 payment left, titled and registered in NC, but now in NY) would be appreciated as well. Thanks in advance.
  9. I'm in too. I live 2 miles from the Stadium for a reason.
  10. It's better than Death Magnetic...
  11. I challenge everyone to donate and or bump this thread everyday until Christmas!
  12. Ha! Thanks for the reminder!!! http://www.childsplaycharity.org/ It's called "Child's Play" and it's a charity designed to get video games in the hands of sick and ostensibly bored little kids. I petitioned the operators to get Women & Childrens hospital on the list a few years back. It's a great charity run by the guys at www.penny-arcade.com, a popular web-comic for gamers (in fact they even have their own game now, available for PC and on the Xbox Live Marketplace). The deal is, the hospitals (all over the US) put up wish lists for the kids in the hospital, which are set up on Amazon.com. You purchase stuff from the wish list and it's delivered to the hospital. The wish lists have all sort of things ranging from games and hardware, to movies and accessories, and there is something for nearly every budget. I encourage everyone to participate. Also, here is a wiki entry: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Child's_Play_(charity) edit: If you are on the fence about making a donation, read the letters: http://www.childsplaycharity.org/photosletters.php
  13. Considering that watching our passing attack yesterday was akin to getting kicked in the nuts, it's no surprise TE has a groin injury.
  14. Any of those things can happen on a 12 year old sled too. I understand your point, but I'm also not expecting much for the age and price. Keep in mind my last sleds were a Moto-Ski Cadet and a Ski-Rule which were about 20 years old themselves at the time. At any rate, I did pick up the sled for $450.00. Started up cold just fine. No apparent rust, damage, anything like that. The only major ding was that the seat needs a new cover, but the guy had one and included it in the deal.
  15. Yes, I saw someone using it. I'm not sure how to unlock it though. Probably a perk, as mentioned previously.
  16. I actually don't want to haul ass. I've known a number of people who have been decapitated or badly injured on these things. Mostly, I want to take some slow rides around the trails near my house. Sober, slow, and during daylight. Yeah, I'm a sissy. But that is also why I'm ok getting an older one, because for as little as I will ride it, it doesn't make sense to spend more than 500 bucks.
  17. Buying tips, not riding tips. Although, negotiations might lean in my favor if I wear a scary looking helmet....
  18. I'm actually fairly mechanically inclined. I used to work on sleds when I was a little kid. I'm assuming something around 96 or 97 would be about $1000.00 or so, right? A bit more than I want to spend right now.
  19. I'm looking at an 89 Arctic Cat Eltigre tomorrow. Anyone have any thoughts about what I should look for beyond it being able to start? Supposedly the motor has been rebuild and the ski's are in decent shape. Anything in particular i should be looking for on the track? Rotting, missing studs, etc? It has 4900 miles and the guy is asking $500.00 which seems reasonable. Thanks
  20. Honestly, the game (especially the multiplayer) feels like CoD 4 with WWII weapons. The menu, lobby, perks, leveling up - it is basically CoD 4.5, which isn't a bad thing.
  21. You can still get them to send the box - they just did for me about a month ago.
  22. According to Marshall - the glove was half black, and half white, and was meant to signify unity. Not exactly a bad message, but maybe not the right forum.
  23. Orchard Park has a "gentlemans" ban on political signs in yards. Local candidates are asked not to plaster the damn things all over, and I love it. Nothing is worse than a street lined with political signs that will have almost no influence on anyone.
  24. "Oh yeah?" is about all anyone is able to offer when confronted with the stark reality that the Republican nominee picked an idiot for VP. Or bring up how an Ivy League educated, Bar-passing attorney said "57" when he meant "47". It's all they have. I say let the baby have it's bottle (before the evil socialists come put money in SD's pocket).
