Unfortunately, he did not do that to Portis on the goal line. -
Song Lyrics, either partial or whole that you like.

In no particular order: Here comes the sun, Here comes the sun, And I say "It's all right" Little darling, it's been a long, cold lonely winter. Little darling, it feels like years since it's been here. Here comes the sun, Here comes the sun, And I say "It's all right" Little darling, the smile returning to their faces. Little darling, it seems like years since it's been here. Here comes the sun, Here comes the sun, And I say "It's all right" Sun, sun, sun here it comes. Sun, sun, sun here it comes. Sun, sun, sun here it comes. Sun, sun, sun here it comes. Sun, sun, sun here it comes. Little darling, I feel that ice is slowly melting. Little darling, it seems like years since it's been clear. Here comes the sun, Here comes the sun, And I say "It's all right, It's all right, It's all right Beatles - Here Comes the Sun Ill tell you this... No eternal reward will forgive us now For wasting the dawn. The Doors - The Wasp (Texas Radio and the Big Beat) We chased our pleasures here, Dug our treasures there, But can you still recall The time we cried? Break on through to the other side. The Doors - Break on Through (to the other side) No one knows what its like To be the bad man To be the sad man Behind blue eyes No one knows what its like To be hated To be fated To telling only lies But my dreams They arent as empty As my conscience seems to be I have hours, only lonely My love is vengeance Thats never free No one knows what its like To feel these feelings Like I do And I blame you No one bites back as hard On their anger None of my pain and woe Can show through But my dreams They arent as empty As my conscience seems to be I have hours, only lonely My love is vengeance Thats never free When my fist clenches, crack it open Before I use it and lose my cool When I smile, tell me some bad news Before I laugh and act like a fool If I swallow anything evil Put your finger down my throat If I shiver, please give me a blanket Keep me warm, let me wear your coat No one knows what its like To be the bad man To be the sad man Behind blue eyes The Who - Behind Blue Eyes We'll be fighting in the streets With our children at our feet And the morals that they worship will be gone And the men who spurred us on Sit in judgement of all wrong They decide and the shotgun sings the song I'll tip my hat to the new constitution Take a bow for the new revolution Smile and grin at the change all around Pick up my guitar and play Just like yesterday Then I'll get on my knees and pray We don't get fooled again The change, it had to come We knew it all along We were liberated from the fold, that's all And the world looks just the same And history ain't changed 'Cause the banners, they are flown in the next war I'll tip my hat to the new constitution Take a bow for the new revolution Smile and grin at the change all around Pick up my guitar and play Just like yesterday Then I'll get on my knees and pray We don't get fooled again No, no! I'll move myself and my family aside If we happen to be left half alive I'll get all my papers and smile at the sky Though I know that the hypnotized never lie Do ya? Yeah! There's nothing in the streets Looks any different to me And the slogans are replaced, by-the-bye And the parting on the left Are now parting on the right And the beards have all grown longer overnight I'll tip my hat to the new constitution Take a bow for the new revolution Smile and grin at the change all around Pick up my guitar and play Just like yesterday Then I'll get on my knees and pray We don't get fooled again Don't get fooled again No, no! Yeah! Meet the new boss Same as the old boss The Who - Won't Get Fooled Again Who the f*** are you? The Who - Who are you? Well, I just got into town about an hour ago Took a look around, see which way the wind blow Where the little girls in their hollywood bungalows Are you a lucky little lady in the city of light Or just another lost angel...city of night . . . . Doors - LA Woman -
The best example of Peters' importance to the team is the Giants game from last year. Before he got hurt, we were doing very well. After he got hurt, it was a jail break.

Thanks. By the way, when a sentence begins "I heard", that typically means that the rest originated from someone else.

In breaking news, the German people have just elected Barack Obama as Chancellor of Germany to replace Angela Merkel. Brian Williams, Katie Couric, and Charlie Gibson immediately asked Chancellor Obama why he would want to be Chancellor of Germany rather than President of the United States. Chancellor Obama responded by assuring the media throng that he was still running for President of the United States and that his experience as a community organizer in Chicago would enable him to perform both positions without any problems. Chris Matthews sighed in relief when he heard that Chancellor Obama would still be running for President and was overheard saying that the “thrill going up my leg” had returned. In sports today, the Chicago Bulls have signed Chancellor/President Obama to be their 3-point specialist.

Looks like it wouldn't have mattered if Viti made the team

I wonder if they got pissed at him after his comments after he got drafted. In any event, whether it was a good policy or not, I feel bad for the guy. The Lions also got screwed. The Army should have never instituted the policy to begin with or they should have rescinded it prospectively. -
For those of you interested in "Global" warming

Watch Penn & Tellers Bull____! tonight at 10:00 on Showtime. -
I heard that, instead of saying “Ich bein Berliner,”Obama told the crowd: “Ich bein Beginner.“ At least he did not repeat JFK's mistake of saying that he is a jelly doughnut.

Well said.

I believe that Neo (the "One") is about to speak in Berlin.

I heard a joke about Marshawn the other day (I think that is was Randy Cross on Sirius): During the offseason, Marshawn Lynch changed his running style from running around people to running over people. My apologies if this has been posted before.

The story that I heard was that he wanted to be on the sideline, but the team and the team's doctors would not let him. If you have ever been on a sideline, you will know the reason why - especially given that he was recovering from a serious leg injury that inhibited his mobility.

FWIW - One of the guys at work said that he heard that Shockey was traded to the Saints for picks.

I know where you are coming from. Yet, I have to admit that it is a great channel. I have been watching it a lot.

For those of us that like the Who (I really cannot imagine who could not), VH1 and Channel 332 on Directv have devoted much of their programming to the Who this week. It will all culiminate in a VH1 Salute to the Who on Thursday evening. The programs have been great and really informative. I especially recommend the one about the making of Who's Next. It was fascinating.

This WSJ editorial relates to the Steelers situation, but also applies to our situation with Ralph and the Bills. WJS - Estate/Death Tax re Steelers

No complaints here.

Oh Henry At this rate, Travis may have to sign up for a role on the Showtime series "Weeds."

I saw it last year here in Miami. My wife loves musicals. In my view, Wicked was the best live musical that I have seen. The performers, staging, and story were great. The story seemed especially relevant given recent years. I would recommend Wicked without any reservation.

Wade Phillips already on the way out in Dallas

I may be in the minority, but, in my view, the biggest mistake the Bills have made (other than firing Bill Polian) was firing Wade. You guys were probably the same guys who complained that he did not wear a headset. -
Me too although it is probably more correct to say that my parents got it for me because I was just a little guy.

Totally agree.

Bingo. I live in a suburb of Miami called Pinecrest. It is Miami's version of Amherst/Williamsville (where I grew up and where my mom still lives in the house I grew up in). In fact, our police chief is from Buffalo. Miami has some great areas and some not so great areas -- just like everywhere else. As an aside, when I was growing up in Buffalo and watched Bills/Dolphins games in the Orange Bowl on tv, I thought that the Orange Bowl was on the beach. You may recall the palm trees in the end zone. Nothing could be further from the truth. The Orange Bowl, which was just torn down, was in an area nothing like Miami Beach. Miami has both unbelievable wealth and extreme poverty. There are areas in which I would never drive and there are areas that are absolutely gorgeous.
