As a supporter of the Dutch, I have to say that the Russians deserved to win. They played inspired and the Dutch were flat. The Russians are going to continue to be dangerous. They have some very good young talent.

He is a typical politician -- except with less experience. Do you think that he would have had the benefit of that land deal for his house if he had not been a politician. Let's not pretend that he or any of these other guys are Bambi.

This is not the first time the Obama campaign has done something like this. Not too long ago, the campaign played musical chairs with the people sitting behind him during a speech so that there would more white faces behind him rather than African-American ones.

When I got my e-mail about buying tickets to the Toronto games and went to the site, there also was no reference to the city of Buffalo -- just "Bills in Toronto." I had the same reaction as you.

I spoke to my brother-in-law yesterday (my wife is from the Netherlands). He told me that the entire country is Orange right now. You have to love the way the Dutch play. As Andy Gray said when the Dutch played Italy when the game was 1-0, thank God the Dutch were up 1-0 and not the other way around. If Italy had been up by a goal, they would have gone into a defensive shell. The Dutch don't know how to play that way. They are going to press regardless. Hup Holland hup.

PJ went on around 9:00 and their show lasted about two hours. Have fun.

RIP Very bad week for the Buffalo Bills family. I met him a couple of times and he was a great guy.

The one thing that he did say was to register to vote. They had people there registering people to vote. He said that Florida has to vote. He then said sarcastically, of course, this is America. We are free to do anything that we want including doing nothing.

I am late in posting this. Nevertheless, on May 31st, we went to go see the launch of the space shuttle Discovery. I have been down here in Miami for several years and never had been before. Long story short, my eldest son (who turns 6 this month) is very interested in astronauts, space, etc. I stumbled on the NASA website a few months ago, signed up for the e-mail updates, found out tickets were available for the launch at the Kennedy Space Center, and was lucky enough to get tickets for the launch. If any of you have any desire to see a launch, I thoroughly recommend that you try to see a launch. As I recall, the space shuttle program will be discontinued in 2010. The launch itself was on time and a thing of beauty.

I was amazed at just how many people were on the lawn. It looked like everyone was having a great time back there. I was lucky to get the tickets that I had. I became a member of the Ten Club a few years back. As a result, I had access to presale tickets. It worked out great.

Government waste? Gee, who would have thunk it?

It is nice to see that there is another BB and PJ fan in South Florida. Where were your seats? We were sitting in the first row of Section 5. It was amazing to look back at the thousands of people on the grass in the back.

I saw PJ last night for the first time. They kicked off their mini tour in South Florida. It was a great show with a lot of energy. If you are a PJ fan, you should go if you have a chance. I started watching this last night and ended up staying up until 1:50 a.m. It was very well done. In short, when the prosecutor, the girl's lawyer, and RP's lawyer all agree that RP got the shaft (so to speak), I think it is fair to say that RP got the shaft. In fact, the prosecutor said at the end that he completely understood why RP left for France.

I watched the UM/Arizona series. Great series. I support UM, but Arizona has a great team and gave the Canes all they can handle.

What a crock of sh*t.

My guess is that ML (on advice of counsel) is going to wait to say anything for one of a couple of reasons: First, IF he was driving, I presume that he will wait to say anything (if he says anything at all) until he and his lawyer have an idea what the video shows. Second, even if he was not driving, he probably does not want to say anything that may implicate a family member, friend, or whoever was driving (presuming the car was not stolen). If he was not driving, we may hear ML deny that he was driving and refuse to comment further. In any situation, he has to be very careful what he says to the police. If there is any chance that he would not tell the truth, it would be best that he not to say anything. Be prepared to hear ML state that he is not going to comment on advice of counsel because there is an ongoing investigation. At this point, who knows what actually happened. I presume that we will find out before too long.
