  1. Per Buffalo Bills - TO will wear 81, Hardy 84 It is funny how people wanted to create a controversy about this.
  2. Speaking of pro days, I read on PFT that the OT from Alabama lost himself millions of dollars today.
  3. I just listened to this on line. I do not have time to give a full recap. First, he comes across very well. He is well spoken and seems excited. Second, he said he wants to "embrace" Buffalo and hopes that Buffalo "embraces" him. I really hope that happens. I cannot wait until football season.
  4. What happened to that guy with the inside information? What was his name?
  5. Woooo . . . JP's "cannon arm" is 2.1 mph faster than Trent's. Wow. It is funny how some people will not let facts stand in the way of their biases.
  6. I found the link regarding JP's ball speed at the combine -- 57.3 JP's ball speed at combine - 57.3 mph For those of you who constantly critique Trent's arm strength, you will note that the Hefty Lefty's ball speed was 60.7 mph whereas Big Ben's was 55.7 mph at the same combine. 55.7 mph is just .5 more than Trent's average ball speed at his combine.
  7. Great post. I had posted something similar last year. As I recall, TE's ball speed was only about 3 mph less than JP's. Also, Trent had the flu at the combine for what its worth. The whole ball speed critique is really bs when you look at the objective facts.
  8. Speaking of DJ, this past week I have read so many articles and heard interviews of players who are glowing in their praise of DJ. I know it is not particularly popular on this board to say anything positive about the guy, but it is clear that the players want him as their coach and want to win with him. I hope that this is the year that we finally put it all together.
  9. FWIW, Schein historically has had nice things to say about Buffalo and the Bills.
  10. No. P.S. Will there be another thread on this topic next week?
  11. I think that he may have found himself a "home" where he will finally feel at peace given his childhood. Maybe I am looking at this through rose colored glasses, but I think that he is going to fall in love with the people of Buffalo and the fans are going to really take to him as well.
  12. I had heard about this a while back. I think that Buffalo is going to be a good place for TO and that TO is going to good for us. The guy is passionate and works hard. I think that he is going to love the Buffalo fans and that even the naysayers are going to come to appreciate TO.
  13. I really like the move. He is a great player and has a lot of passion for the game. I really think that he will be on his best behavior and will make Lee Evans and the rest of the offense that much better.
  14. That pick really set us back. We had a great LT staring us in the face, and TD spent the pre-draft build up tearing down McKinnie. He was so hell bent on tearing down McKinnie that he distributed articles bad mouthing him a few years later. The whole thing was weird.
  15. The Bills are my addiction. As I said in another post, emotionally I have no choice but to keep on renewing the tickets even though I live out-of-town. People are free to do whatever they want to do with their money. Nevertheless, the best way to ensure that the Bills move out of Buffalo is for season ticket holders to give up their seats and for people to stop going to games. I just hope that the converse (high number of season ticket holders and sell outs) is enough to keep the Bills in Buffalo.
  16. Tim, Thanks for doing this. There are so many questions that I would like to ask you. For the time being, I will ask about the most important issue: What do you hear about the prospects of the Bills staying in Buffalo? Is it a fact that Mr. Wilson has made no plans? Are there potential buyers for the team who have the money and will keep the team in Buffalo? Do you think that the commissioner's ties to Western New York will help? Do you know what the relocation fee is? (Some on the board have posted that it is 100s of millions of dollars). One of the sad facts of being a Buffalo Bills fan (unlike the fans of nearly all of the teams) is that, not only do we have to worry about their performance on the field, we have to worry about their very existence in Buffalo.
  17. I am too lazy to read the six pages of posts. Nevertheless, I wish Jabari well even though he is not going to be a Buffalo Bill. He was an underdog and played well for us when we needed him. He also seems like a great guy.
  18. I know exactly what you mean.
  19. I renewed even though I live out-of-town. I have been a fan since War Memorial when I was a little kid. Emotionally, I have no choice.
  20. Although I am happy with the signing, I will always respect what Jabari did for this team. He was good player and is a good guy. I hope that Jabari gets what he wants in free agency.
  21. No wonder PFT is reporting that they are not trading Cromartie. It sounds like a good get.
  22. Given that the Roscoe bashing threads/posts are a recurring event on this board, I will simply re-incorporate my previous posts on the subject.
  23. For those of you who think he has bad hands, I remember posting a while back a link to a site that showed the percentage of caught passes (i.e. caught passes/passes thrown to) for the 2007 season. According to that, he had better hands than Lee Evans. I am too lazy and busy to look it up again. In any event, his hands are fine. I too would like to see his production increase. I am not sure what the cause is. I do know that when he does have the ball in his hands, he is very dangerous.
