  1. From PFT: Cutler and Ron Turner As the old Chinese proverb states: You better watch out what you ask for . . . you just might get it. Sorry if already posted.
  2. Whatever the truth is, these are all very good football players. I suspect they will all do well in the NFL wherever they are drafted.
  3. Another way to make the point is that I would rather have TE AND two first round picks than that cry baby that just got traded to the Bears.
  4. Oh brother. I had a feeling that one of you guys would use this as an opportunity to rip the Canes. It is kind of like saying that the Bills produce a bunch of murderers because of OJ and Jim Dunaway.
  5. Moats family on GMA this morning They seem like very reasonable and gracious people to me.
  6. On a side note, this morning on Sirius NFL radio, they were discussing the possibility that we will see more and more of the spread in the NFL.
  7. Florio over at PFT has a good take on this:
  8. Yes, they got out in a hurry at a friggen hospital. And what did he do when they told him the woman's mother was dying? Given the tempers shown on this board, I can guaranty that most of us on TBD would not have been as calm as Moates was. If my mother or mother-in-law was about to take her last breath, I would be a lot more upset than he was. The cop showed very poor judgment. Part of being a good cop is not acting disproportionately to the situation at hand. There are a lot of very good cops. This guy is not one of them.
  9. Aren't they in that new movie "I love you man" together.
  10. He pulled his gun on people going to see their mother/mother-in-law take her last breaths. If he had his way, neither one of them would have made it in time. The guy was a jerk. Remember, this all happened in the parking lot of the friggen hospital within a few feet of the entrance. It is not like this was miles away from the hospital.
  11. Check out the video Video of incident The cop was a real !@#$. You will note that this all takes place in the friggen parking lot of the hospital.
  12. It must be tough to almost get ticketed for DUI when you don't drink. I live down here in Miami. This has not been reported in the Miami Herald (as best as I can tell). Given the Stallworth situation, if there was any truth to this, the Herald would have been all over this. Instead, the Herald reported today that he got his award etc. -- without any mention of this BS.
  13. I wonder if the Bills cut Dockery prematurely given that it does not appear that we will be upgrading that position any time soon. I hope that I am wrong.
  14. Sadly, Tim seems to have read too many posts by people here who repeatedly post that he should be traded. Don't drink the Kool Aid Tim. Parrish is one of the best return men in the game, he can score from anywhere on the field if we figure out how to give him the ball, he should have lots of opportunities with TO and Evans causing opposing teams to focus on them, and he signed a cap friendly contract. Just my two cents.
  15. He worked out for the Pats today. I would hate to see what Billy B would come up with for him if they drafted Pat White.
  16. There is a chance that we may be surprised this year -- at least I hope so. The fact that he has a new defensive line coach and if his back is better, he could end up playing like the glimpses we saw from a few years ago.
  17. Did Crowell have his meeting with the Bills today?
  18. Great article. I also really liked what Irvin had to say. TO and Buffalo were made for each other. We both want to be appreciated.
  19. People keep on saying that he has "character issues" or that he is not a "team guy." Where in the world do you get that from?!? The guys on the team love him. The only thing he did was use the only leverage he had to try to re-work his deal. He did not rip the team like Boldin has done with the Cards or other players have done with their teams when they wanted to re-work deals. I have said this before -- if you have any doubt about Jason Peter's worth to this team, watch the Giants game from 2007 and compare how the Bills protected the QB before he got hurt and after he got hurt. The whole game turned on us at that moment in time.
  20. Everyone says that he is a very good tight end. I would like to have him on the team based on what Mayock has said about him. I think that the 11th pick is a bit pricey for him though. I would love to have Raji or one of the premier DEs on the board at 11 and get Pettigrew later or trade down and get him if the other guys are not on the board. For what it is worth, this is supposed to be a fairly deep draft for tight ends. If that is the case, even if we stand pat with our picks, we should be able to get a good tight end in the second or third round. If one of the top centers is available with our second pick, I also could see us going in that direction as well.
  21. I really hope that this is his break out year - whatever the yardage total is.
  22. I read that too. I really hope that he does not go to the Jets or Dolphins. I have a feeling both of those teams are interested. The Jets got slammed for having no interest in TO and Boldin is from down here in Florida as I recall.
  23. There is part of me that thinks what a steal that could be. The other part of me has visions (more like nightmares) of Mike Williams. As they said on the NFL network last night, he is high risk, but perhaps high reward.
  24. Apparently, he is up to 11 kids now. He has an entire offensive unit now. Well, at least he did not suggest that the Bills play some games in Toronto. On a personal note, what a waste this is. Except for pass blocking, the guy had a lot of talent. He was not the best RB in the league, but he ran hard. If only he got more protection . . . .
