  1. So you are one of those guys that cheers when one of our players gets hurt. Classy.
  2. Cornell Green makes Langston look like a 10 time pro bowl player. Jason already is a pro bowl player, but many people (not me) on this board hate him (even though some want Ron Mexico on the Bills).
  3. So true. They may have been busy picking themselves or their jocks off the ground.
  4. Yes, but Maybin has a great first step. The problem apparently is every step after the first step. I remember reading reports during the OTAs immediately after the Maybin pick that he looked like a wasted first round pick. I was never high on him to begin with. When he held out, I was hoping that the Bills would just cut their losses. He has shown nothing to show that he was not a wasted first round pick.
  5. Andre Johnson is an absolute stud of a WR who is so much better than Evans. He also made the pro bowl in 2004 (with Carr), 2006 (with Carr) , 2008, and 2009. P.S. I was referring to the Texans current line.
  6. I have no interest in Ron Mexico being a Buffalo Bill.
  7. I thought that he was pretty good and has done a good job on the NFL Network when I have seen him there. It is a tough job, and I only noticed a couple of mistakes, which is not too unusual Just my two cents.
  8. I did not see the Texans game, but I did see that the five sacks were in a game where Schaub had 52 pass attempts. From what I have seen of the Texans, I would take their offensive line over ours every day of the week, and their number one receiver is one of the best in the game, and he is not afraid to go over the middle and fight for the ball. He does that with Schaub. He did that before, and he did that with the Canes. As I said in my earlier post, Tom Brady (the most productive QB in the past several years) showed what happens to even the best QBs in the NFL when an opposing defense is able to do what opposing defenses have been able to do with our offensive line for many, many years.
  9. So true. I am glad that you and some others are able to see the forest from the trees.
  10. I wish we could turn back the clock and draft Matthews (or many others) instead of our wasted first round pick last year.
  11. . . . and never seems to fight for the ball. For the most part, he is a one trick pony.
  12. Well said. Don't worry though, the haters are unable to see the forest from the trees. As Tom Brady showed against the Ravens in the playoffs last year, even the very best QBs in the NFL are are not very good when they are getting the sh*t kicked out of them. That line gets blown up both on the edge and in the middle. It makes me sick to my stomach to see how much time the opposition offensive line give to their QBs and the holes that they give to their RBs.
  13. So true. Good post. I would hate to have to be a QB or RB playing with that offensive line. It is amazing how bad our line has been and for so long. Of course, there is no doubt that the haters on this board have and will blame everything on the QB. The sooner we improve the offensive line, the sooner we will have a good team (whoever the QB is). It makes me sick to my stomach to watch every defense blow up on line even when they are rushing fewer rushers. The whole thing makes me very depressed.
  14. . . . or maybe Buddy did not go after McNabb in the off season.
  15. She is great. She also does hockey.
  16. Very good post. In answer to the original post, people here love to blame the QB for everything. To blame the QB for this loss obviously is simplistic, but is to be expected on this board. As Chan said in his post game press conference, people will always blame the QB and the head coach for everything. As he also said, they are big boys and will handle it. The good news is that I was pleasantly surprised with the defense. Except for some very frustrating third down conversions, I thought the D fought hard.
  17. It depends on how tall you are? Personally, I would never wear a Flutie jersey. Ron Mexico?
  18. That is so cool. Which site had these?
  19. I think that we know how one defensive lineman feels about Shanny -- not that it makes much difference.
  20. This does not answer your question, but I think that I will be rooting for the Vikings. Although I like Jabari and Brees, I am tired of Greggo and Payton.
  21. I like Parcells, but his favorite song must be Free Bird.
  22. You probably are right, but those guys are certainly fun to watch on the college level.
  23. As an aside, I remember reading on CJ's twitter that he looked forward to playing his first game (the preseason game) at the Ralph given everything that he had heard about the atmosphere. I think he is really going to feed off of the atmosphere on Sunday -- it should be extra special because it is the home opener and is against the Dolphins. I cannot wait until Sunday.
