Thanks for helping me make my point. You can be the best coach in the world, but you still need talent on the field. Billy B is a great example. Notwithstanding videogate, I think that he is a great coach. Yet, I doubt that he would have had nearly the success he has had without Tom Brady. I agree. Gailey is the best coach that we have had in a long time. I have confidence that he and Buddy are going to lead us where we want to be.

I believe that you are correct that we came the closest to beating them during their undefeated season.

CJ essentially beat the Canes on his own last year. I fully expect him to have huge games against the Dolphins for years to come. Many of my Canes/Dolphins friends congratulated me as a Bills fan after we picked him given that they were very familar with what CJ had done in college.

I was at that game. It was like a huge weight was released from our shoulders after having gone 0-20 against them in the 1970's. I also made it on the field after the game. FWIW, I also lucky enough to be at the game in 1983 when we beat them in the Orange Bowl for the first time since the 1960's. That was a lot of fun. Fergy had a great game that day.

This does not answer your question, but I really enjoyed watching that game last night. I have enjoyed watching Boise State these past few years. They are an easy team to root for. Although I am a Canes fan, I also was very impressed with the way that VT came back. T. Taylor causes a lot of problems for any defense.

Getting out of the gate fast would be great for this team. Not only would it mean that we are winning, it would give the team a lot of confidence. I wonder how last year's team would have turned out if we had beaten the Pats* in the first game (as we should have but for a botched return and some bad penalties).

They also made a change with special teams. CJ had been listed as the primary PR. He is now listed as the primary KR, and Roscoe is listed as the primary PR. If we can improve on our return blocking, we can have a very dangerous return game.

Whatever. I listen to Sirius NFL Radio nearly every day on my commute to work every day. I have not heard him say that "about 25 other teams" or even close to that. I am not defending him per se. I am just reporting what I heard. Whoever you think the guy may secretly be a fan of, he certainly does not appear to anti Bills as some in the media seem to be.

On Sirius (either this past week or the week before), he said that (although he cannot really root for any team given his job), he has a special place in his heart for the Buffalo Bills and Bills fans (and a couple of other teams).

I do not know about that. It does give them some flexibility if one of our LTs goes down or does not perform and allows us to put Levitre at LT as we were forced to do last year. All in all, I thought Levitre did ok at tackle.

I can only hope that they are trading for Greg Olsen.

Our unis went from among the best to among the worst - kind of like the team. I am confident that the team is headed in the right direction. I wish that I could say the same about the unis.
