  1. What he said. There is no way anyone should feel sorry for Lee Evans.
  2. Go Bills. MTP has not been the same.
  3. FWIW, I actually think that it is a pretty decent site. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. In any event, the particular link is interesting given that it provides his ratings for particular weeks. It is interesting to see against which teams he did well against v. against which teams he did not do well.
  4. As a friend of mine once said with reference to a similar situation, you have to do if nothing than to be able to tell us and your friends the stories.
  5. That is an amazing stat. If only he had been playing with the Bills . . . .
  6. I think that they are in a bit of a pickle. I suspect that they will not fire Ireland for fear of Parcells leaving.
  7. I appreciate what you are saying, but (at least to me) the apology does fly in the face of the Dolphins' belated attempt to justify what happened. Also, the fact that the Dolphins are now leaking this version without attribution is cowardly and self-defeating. By doing what they are doing, they have given this story another news cycle. They should have just let it die.
  8. Judging from the draft, the NFL did not think that it was a particularly outstanding QB class.
  9. True, but the Dolphins are cowards "leaking" a story today without attribution after Ireland already apologized. If he had nothing to apologize for, why did he do so instead of telling his side when the original story came out. To me, it just sounds like the Dolphins are trying to save face. They already are getting heat down here for not letting Zack Thomas use their facilities to announce his retirement and playing games with Jason Taylor (at least that is the way a lot of Dolphin fans are perceiving it down here).
  10. If it is Sully, there is no way that it would be worth it having to listen to him B word and moan all game long.
  11. I think that he was being humorous. He has used that line a couple of times.
  12. I hope he does sign with him. That means we only have to cover him half the time, because he takes half the plays off and is a disruption and side show. I have my doubts that Billy B would want him. The guy clearly is not what he used to be, but hey, who knows. Maybe playing with Brady would inspire him and cause him to behave.
  13. PFT has been covering this all day. According to Dez Bryant, it did not go down like this at all. This is the Dolphins trying to save face. The funny thing is that if it went down like this, why did Ireland apologize rather than put out this version of events then.
  14. I have the same seats, but on the other side of the stadium.
  15. Hockey players are different from others. A similar thing happened down here some years ago. John Vanbiebrouck and another Florida Panther player helped a mother and daughter change a flat tire in the old Miami Arena parking lot after a game.
  16. It is funny how fans will hear whatever they want to hear. I believe that it is going to be an open competition and that the Bills will choose whichever QB they think will give us the best chance to win. I trust that Chan and Buddy will make the right decision whatever that may be. But admit it. You will spontaneously combust if Chan and Buddy select Trent as the starter.
  17. I have that feeling as well -- provided he wins the QB competition in Chan's eyes over the Summer. If and when that happens, I fully expect that there will be some on this board who will spontaneously combust before our eyes just like the Spinal Tap drummers.
  18. It was a good interview, and Buddy obviously has a rapport with these guys. I could listen to Buddy all day long. Now, if only the Bills would bring back Dwight Adams . . . .
  19. I have had confidence in Buddy since the beginning. This re-confirms my confidence. The haters on this board must be very upset. Thankfully, we have a GM who understands that you cannot blame everything on Trent or any QB for last year.
  20. I have no idea whether he is going to be a good NFL QB, but by pure happenstance, I watched the GMAC Bowl in which Troy played Central Michigan. It was a great game, and both Brown and LeFevour lit it up. It was a fun game to watch.
  21. If you have not seen it, I thoroughly recommend the documentary "Run Ricky Run" on ESPN. For those of you that do not know, it is a documentary on Ricky Williams, and it is outstanding. Ricky elicits a lot of different reactions from people -- as I am sure that the documentary will. I do not have time right now to go through all of my thoughts about Ricky now, but I always found him to be a sympathetic figure and the documentary did nothing to change that (except for the part about being an absent father until recently). It also revealed at least to me a horrific thing that happened in his childhood. I will not get into it now for those of you that have not seen the program yet.
  22. I presume it was him as well.
  23. As most of you know, I think that Trent can be a good QB for us and is the best option. Nevertheless, I recall Brohm lighting up my Hurricanes when the Canes were pretty good. He has some skills and was once compared to another Buffalo Bills QB who does not like QBs from California.
  24. I just love to read "future" and "Maybin" in the same sentence. I hope that his play rises to the level that would justify a future with the Bills.
  25. Good. I have no problem with him being on the team and producing -- provided that he has no problem with that.
