  1. I am curious to find out who is taking his place.
  2. I checked with Joique's twitter just to confirm that the original poster was referring to Joique as opposed to Demetrius signing an extension. I am glad that Joique is on the team. He plays hard and is a good kid. I presume that he will be on the 53 man roster once Marshawn leaves the team one way or another.
  3. I stopped reading after I read the Beatles and U2 (two of my all time favorites) on the list. It is kind of like overrating breathing.
  4. I have a lot of good memories at Chef's. My Dad and I had a tradition of going to Chef's for dinner before Sabres games. All of a sudden, I am hungry for some spaghetti parm.
  5. His retirement came out of nowhere. I also thought he had a lot of upside and definitely would be an upgrade over what we have.
  6. What PTR said.
  7. Does anyone know what the back story is as to why the Seahawks could cut him even though they are on the hook for $7m? Has his ability fallen that much in one year? Did he piss them off for some reason?
  8. He deserved to make the team.
  9. I think I heard that they cut Losman.
  10. This is a great post on so many different levels. As an aside, on draft day, I had so many different friends (who are fans of other teams) call me to congratulate me on the pick. One friend, for example, who is a fan of the Giants both congratulated me and was bemoaning the fact that he did not fall to the Giants. There is not one player that was picked after CJ that I would prefer to have on the team. We got a top five pick with the ninth pick in the draft. I am so happy we did not reach for a tackle or one of the mediocre QBs. I am a fan that really believes that the Bills have to upgrade the offensive line, but I am very happy that the Bills did not pass on CJ's unique abilities and reach to make some of the people on this board happy. It is obvious to me that Buddy has a plan and did a great job on draft day. I am happy that he is our GM.
  11. I totally agree with your comments. He would really help out the offense. Sadly, I think that you are probably right that the Bills will not pull the trigger. If they did, the Bills would have the best weapon we have had at the TE position in many years. You also are right that Chan would know how to use him.
  12. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2010/09/01/time-for-some-more-greg-olsen-trade-rumors/ Olsen supposedly available again.
  13. I think that we are going to surprise them and some others. I am choosing not to have high expectations (so that I will not be disappointed). Yet, for the first time in a long time, I think that we have a GM and head coach who know what they are doing. If I were a betting man, I would bet that our record will be better than last year's record. We may even flirt with the playoffs.
  14. The most successful QB in the last several years (Tom Brady) looked pretty ordinary (if not down right horrible) against the Ravens at home in the playoffs this past season when he was running for his life. Just to refresh your recollection, he had a 49.1 QB rating. To correct what you said, good QBs make plays when they are given an opportunity to do so, period.
  15. You are correct that it is way overdue that we get rid of our horrible uniforms. They have the distinction of being both horrible and represent some of the worst years in the franchise. The sooner we get rid of them, the better. At this point, I think that the Bills are just being stubborn. If the Bills really wanted to turn the page, they should get rid of these horrible unis now. I can only hope that they have realized this and already have taken steps to get rid of them. My preference would be to go back to the uniforms we had during the super bowl years and use the throwbacks for special occasions. Just my two cents. P.S. I refuse to buy a jersey until ditch these unis.
  16. This really pisses me off. I was really looking forward to staying up late and watching the game.
  17. The comment is fine. I think he just is not familiar with the town. I actually think Chad is a pretty good guy.
  18. Thanks for the report. I really hope that J. Bell makes the team. He has played well enough to earn a spot. I also heard him interviewed on Sirius NFL Radio last week, and he sounds like a great kid - the kind of player that both Chan and Buddy appear to want on our team.
  19. Bess is a good player. I watched him a lot late at night when he was playing for Hawaii and I needed to get a football fix. I wish the Bills had brought him in. Camarillo is pretty good, but he had a knee injury a couple years ago if I recall correctly.
  20. Thanks for posting. Good read. How they select their clients reminds me of how Buddy has gone about choosing players as well.
  21. Maybe, just maybe, Chan Gailey disgrees with your assessment and those of others that post here. Maybe, just maybe, he really believes what he has said after reviewing the game film: "It is hard to throw the ball while lying on your back." To me, Chan gets it. He realizes that our offensive line has been horrible in pass protection and that has impacted the QB play etc.
  22. He was quoted as saying that they could say whatever they wanted. It does not sound as though he is "too thin skinned."
  23. Good for Chan. It is good to see a coach stand up for his players to a bunch of jerks who apparently have nothing better to do than heckle players during the day. P.S. Regarding the gloves - as someone said, we have no idea whose gloves they were. Trent does not wear gloves in this weather. Yet, even if he did, I have not heard anyone complain about Kurt Warner wearing gloves in Arizona during he entire season. This reminds me of people complaining about Wade not wearing a head set when he was with the Bills.
  24. He is the only player on the Yankees that I do not like. I wish that they had let him twist in the wind and not re-signed him.
