  1. I was wondering that myself. He could be an interesting option. He apparently has run a 4.35 in the past (not sure of his speed after his knee injury). From what I read, he dropped some balls in the beginning of the year. Nevetheless, I would not be surprised if they at least have him visit.
  2. As always, I wish Ralph a long and happy life.
  3. For a while I have been thinking that it would be to the Bills' advantage to extend some of these key pieces (Fitz, Stevie, Fred) this year and front load the contract to take the cap hit this year (given that we are so far under the cap this year). Is there any competitive reason not to do that? Shouldn't we take advantage of being so far under the cap this year to give us more flexibility withe cap in future years? Am I missing something?
  4. RIP. He was a very good driver and seemed like a good guy. As a father of two, I feel horrible about this even more so.
  5. On Sirius NFL radio this morning (while discussing another subject), Dan Reeves and Solomon Wilcots, and Ross Tucker were all very complimentary of Chan. We are fortunate to have a coach like Chan.
  6. That was a great tackle -- and no easy thing to do in the open field.
  7. Jim Rome: "I love me some Bills." "The world is better when the Bills are winning."
  8. I agree with you.
  9. Lee is able to change the whole dynamic of a game without even playing. That's how good the guy is . . . running straight ahead.
  10. Welker is hard enough to tackle - especially when you are not allowed to tackle him.
  11. Even last year, I noticed that they had a lot of character guys on the team. We never gave up. I think Chan was impressed with that and apparently Shawn M.
  12. I love this kid.
  13. We needed that stop.
  14. you are absolutely correct. It was stupid and useless. The defender was in no position to even make a play.
  15. Please explain, because it looks like our guys are getting beat and picked apart.
  16. Was Jones hit early?
  17. How is it that it seem like no one is/wants to/able to cover Welker.
  18. I keep on reading how Lee Evans was a classy guy. How did that become the party line? To me, he did not seem any better or worse than any other player for the most part. When the Losman/Edwards competition happened, he appeared to take sides on that and tried to undermine the other guy. He also appeared to want nothing to do with running any routes over the middle. When Edwards was the QB, I don't recall seeing Evans fight for any balls (in fact, quite the opposite). Finally, in the end, it has been reported rightly or wrongly that he asked to be traded. Now, before all the people who have man crushes on Lee Evans rip me, I will admit that my impression of Lee Evan's character is based on my observations and reading between the lines etc. I have not spoken to anyone on the team directly who has said he was a prima donna etc. Having said that - is there anyone here who has any inside information about what a classy guy he was and how he saved babies from burning buildings etc.? Just my two cents.
  19. I feel bad for Roscoe. Notwithstanding his size, the guy always was willing to go over the middle unlike some other former Bills WR I know. I was really looking forward to seeing what he could do for an entire year with Chan. I wonder if I will ever see that. Unlike some here, I hope I do but who knows . . . .
  20. I feel the EXACT same way. The same thing happened when Merriman was on Glazer's show that was linked on BB.com last week. If these guys showed the same kind of love to the community that some former Bills and many Sabres/former Sabres have, the people in Buffalo would return the feeling multiple times.
  21. U2 had this for its tour. It is pretty cool.
  22. Since being traded to the Ravens, Lee Evans has changed the whole dynamic . . . of the Buffalo Bills and the AFC East. Now each of our receivers is willing to run all of the patterns and not just the go route. This has confused opposing DBs to no end.
  23. It is no coincidence that, when we went to those horrible unis, we were horrible, and now that we have great unis, we . . . . I am so happy with this football season for so many reasons. I really hope we continue with our progress.
