  1. Slacker. Seriously, the fact that he is smart has a lot to do with his success.
  2. No reason to duck - you are absolutely right.
  3. As usual, very good comments. Marcell seems like a great kid and can play ball. He is the best first round pick that we have had in a long, long time.
  4. Very classy. Thanks. You guys look like you are on the way up.
  5. . . . and the Ravens playoff game against the Pats. Brady got the **** kicked out of him.
  6. Lee Evans actually had a couple of catches this weekend and ruined the Ravens' chance of winning. Everyone knows that Lee changes the dynamic of the game (as long as he does not make any catches).
  7. The thing is that Phil Simms did not have any catches this past weekend either -- that is why the Ravens won and Bolden played so well. (just joking because of your reference to gratuitous numbers of pages in threads).
  8. What he said. There is no reason to criticize a player for complimenting his teammates.
  9. Post of the day. I recorded the Ravens game on shortcuts. I was not able to watch the whole thing because it I had to stop watching and then it erased later because of all the stuff we are recording on the DVR. I am going to make a point to record the Ravens shortcuts on Directv this season to follow up.
  10. I will never understand the Roscoe haters on this board.
  11. I am going to DVR the Ravens shortcuts and watch for myself.
  12. Now is the time for NGU and John W. to let us know what the real deal is. Someone send out the bat signal.
  13. There is no need to "cry uncle" at this point. I have a feeling he will end up being pretty good (presuming he can learn about pass protections and get on the field more often). I saw the guy beat teams in college all by himself. Whether that translates into being productive in the NFL, we shall see. In the meantime, Fred is doing great and let's enjoy yesterday's big win on the road against last year's AFC West champs.
  14. He is such a good decoy, he is still opening things up for Stevie. FWIW, the stats show that Flacco targeted him 4 times. Having not seen the game, I have no idea why did not catch any of the four. If I were a gambling man, I would bet that none of them involved crossing patterns.
  15. There are parts of Miami that look like that. There are other parts that look very, very different.
  16. Very, very sad. He seemed like a good guy and I loved the show. Horrible news. RIP.
  17. He loved to bash Fergy every chance he got.
  18. I read his column today and am left with one lingering question: Who the hell kidnapped Sullivan and wrote his column?
  19. Agreed. Agreed.
  20. Way too young. Very sad.
  21. He had the quickest first step out of the building.
  22. On a related note: Savard unlikely to play again
  23. I never understood the Roscoe hate by some on this board. Periodically the haters come out of the woodwork. At least it is not as frequent as it used to be.
  24. I cannot help you then. I have watched football for many years. I played football way back when. Returning punts is one of the most difficult and dangerous things one can do in sports. Notwithstanding his size, Roscoe (in my humble opinion) is one of the best and most exciting punt returners I have ever seen. Just my two cents.
  25. You are missing the point. Teams started punting to the sidelines (to give hime less room) and higher shorter kicks (for the same reason). They guy is a great punt returner and opposing teams did what they could to avoid him breaking open games.
