  1. That could be too. When I have been in that situation with an idiot Bills fan down here in Miami, I made sure to protect him from himself. In any event, someone was an idiot on Sunday. Punching someone out or provoking someone to do so is asinine. We do not know exactly what happened, but saw the result. Again, arguing over laundry is stupid.
  2. Arguing over laundry . . . . [to steal from Jerry Seinfeld] I noticed that as well. Good on them. The other thing that I seemed to notice was that the BB fan was either by himself or has some terrible friends.
  3. This is their explanation: https://www.profootballfocus.com/about/grading/
  4. FWIW - Pro Football Focus rated our line's performance against the Jets as follows (from left to right): Overall Performance: Glenn -0.5 Urbik -0.6 Wood -5.9 Pears -2.1 Henderson +0.5 Pass Blocking: Glenn +0.4 Urbik +0.4 Wood 0.0 Pears -0.6 Henderson +0.9 Run Blocking: Glenn -1.1 Urbik -1.1 Wood -6.0 Pears -1.6 Henderson -0.6 There also are grades for penalties. The tackles were +0.2 and the others were 0.1
  5. Very easy guy to like and root for -- unless you are a crusader.
  6. CJ is a great teammate and I would bet that every player on the Bills (with Fred first in line) would love to see him back. Given that someone took issue with my saying haters will hate, I will end with: Crusaders will crusade - even those who in other posts (accurately) critique our guards, but, at the same time go out of their way to trash CJ. I wish CJ a speedy recovery - and a long career with the team and city he loves - the Buffalo Bills.
  7. I think it is a short hand (at least for me) to describe the crusaders. At least one of these crusaders repeatedly complains about CJ and hitting holes etc. -- while, at the same time elsewhere, stating (accurately) how bad our guards are.
  8. The haters refuse to give the guy any credit.
  9. This. Great teammate. He and Fred are great friends. Has the talent. Does not complain about the horrid guard play or misuse. He seems like the kind of guy that the Pegulas and whoever will be making the football decisions will want to have. I just hope we upgrade the guards for all of our sake.
  10. CJ will be Buffalo Bill next year. Haters will hate regardless.
  11. You remind me of Bucky and Sully - not in a good way.
  12. What is the over and under on how many times we will hear the word "obviously" in DM's press conference?
  13. Are they going to carry George Edwards off the field?
  14. We have a good defense, but it seems we are not able to generate too many three and outs.
  15. Every time we have them pinned back, we let them off the hook. Ugh!
  16. Is that you Bucky? Sully? This is a classic keyboard jockey comment.
  17. I had the pleasure of meeting Kim last weekend. I cannot say enough good things about her. In a nutshell, we are very lucky to have Kim and Terry as owners of the Bills and Sabres. We also are very fortunate that they have so much passion about Buffalo.
  18. Richie is waiting patiently by the phone for the Bills to call: http://www.tmz.com/videos/0_hjc5fd0x/ As an aside, I know Eric Wood is friends with Richie and everyone loves a good redemption story. Richie would be an upgrade over what we have at RG. I do not like what he did, but based on how the Dolphin players (black and white) defended him, his issues do not appear to be racial.
  19. My hope is that opposing defenses will actually begin to respect our passing game and not crowd the box to defend against the run the way they have.
  20. We have been very spoiled.
  21. On this, we totally agree.
  22. That actually was interesting and confirms some of my thoughts on the subject. The issue is not our backs but the blocking. The good news -- at least with the examples that he showed with Seantrel and Cyril -- is that those problems are easily fixable. He did show any examples of Pears who PFF rates as a disaster at guard. As an aside, Billick illustrated Bridgewater's issues - he is unable to read/see and waits until he is able to actually see that a receiver is open and by that time it is too late.
  23. May as well try. Our guards have not been particularly productive so far. It seems as though the interior of the line has lots of issues. As for Cujo, I cannot say I am very hopeful. I have to admit that actually liked the pick based on reviews that I read in the pre-draft material. Yet, when I watched some highlights of him, he did no seem like he is a particularly powerful blocker or agile. With any luck, he has improved. time will tell.
  24. FWIW, the letter is signed by both Kim and Terry. Kim also was in the owners meeting.
