Karma is correct. The guy was a jerk for what he did and how he reacted to it afterword.

Before the game even starts...It's a coaches job to overcome
Peter replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It is funny to read the original post - especially now. This victory is so much sweeter given that the Rex Haters were so looking forward to a loss and did not want to acknowledge that the team would be better with: Sammy Cordy Marcel Darby Salas And our top two draft picks. Great win! -
Where was this Defense Backfield last week?
Peter replied to Mike in Horseheads's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
As Moose Johnson said on the telecast, they made plays today that they did not make last week. Sometimes guys have bad games and it has nothing or little to do with the defense that is called. -
I am hearing and reading the Rex Haters say it was only one game (referring to today's game). Yet, some of these same people had no problem saying Rex should get fired (a) before the season even started; (b) after the Ravens game; © after the Jets game. Hmmmm. P.S. Of course, the same guys also will never acknowledge that it might be nice to give Rex a chance with all the parts that are missing

Probably.

Peter replied to dezertbill's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
You have no idea how many times I screamed at the TV when the Jets converted one third down after another . . . to the point that my wife got upset at me. If you were honest with yourself, however, you would acknowledge that our DBs had a piss poor game which had nothing to do with scheme etc. Nevertheless, I certainly was not happy with the defense against the Jets. -

I have a feeling about this weekend: 1) Buffalo Bills fans will be rooting for the Bills to beat the Cardinals. 2) The Rex Haters will be rooting for the Eagles defense. -
Will a healthy Sammy Watkins every play for the Buffalo Bills? I have absolutely nothing against Sammy. I do believe we overpaid for him at the time, but have been happy that he is on our team. Yet, has he ever been completely healthy while with the Bills? Ever? It seems as though he has something going on with his health all the time. It would be nice if we had him healthy for a season. Is that too much to ask?

I can imagine. I saw parts of the game in which the Texans had 27 points scored on them by a Pats team that had a third string QB. -
It kills me every time Gronk (a guy from Buffalo) catches a pass against us and helps the Pats beat us. Painful.

Gilmore is letting his contract affect his play
Peter replied to 26TrapDraw's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yes. Gilmore had a horrible game - probably his worst game in the NFL. As a defensive back, they have no choice but to move on to the next play or game etc. I think he is a good player and hope that he bounces back. He did probably lose a bunch of money in that game though. -
9-21: Rex, Shady, and Tyrod Pressers from OBD
Peter replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
"No one circles the wagons like the . . . ." We all know that Chris Berman finishes that sentence with "Buffalo Bills." I also have noticed that no one circles the wagons like the Buffalo media (on their usual outlets and social media). As best as I can tell, not one member of the media that covers the Buffalo Bills had anything to say or write about this event. Not even Sully in his column the next day on the underlying subject of people getting killed. This is why places like Two Bills Drive and social media (e.g., Twitter etc.) are important. People can turn around and question the media. The irony is that, as much as some of these guys love to attack players/coaches/owners etc., I have found that certain members of the media have the thinnest of skins. They clearly do not like being questioned themselves. Just my two cents. -
Is Rex forcing his players to stand for the Anthem?
Peter replied to Yeezus's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
No. -

That press conference set the bar for the all time worst performance by the usual suspects at TBN. That was cringe worthy to the extreme. -
Mike Francesa Destroys Rex And Rob Ryan, Buffalo Bills
Peter replied to Mediaman's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
FWIW - I have relatives who live in NY who are huge Jets fans. They cannot stand Francesa. Do not expect Francesa to be anything but biased against the Jets or anyone who had been associated with the Jets (including and especially Rex). He always has been biased against the Jets in favor of the Giants. -

Peter replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
That is the way that I interpreted it. Sully is a complete embarrassment to himself and TBN. He really owes LeSean an apology for the petulant way in which he reacted to Lesean politely declining to be drawn into this. It is both funny and ironic that the guy whom Bucky/Sully claim should be cut for being in a bar fight taught Sully (overweight, middle aged or more keyboard jockey) a lesson in maturity. I have a feeling that TT -- rightly or wrongly -- feels responsible for Roman being let go. -
Are the Pegula's meddling owners?
Peter replied to Jerry Jabber's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Exactly. The premise of the initial post and question is just as wrong as when Bucky argues they are meddling owners. -

There is an interesting exchange between LeSean and Sullen. I am impressed with how LeSean kept his cool. It starts at about 4:11. Here is my best attempt at a transcript but it is better to listen for yourselves. Sullen: Two more black men shot dead since your last game . . . . LM: I have got nothing to say . . . . JS: Do you think that there will be more protests in the league . . . . LM: I just want to stay off that topic. JS: Why? . . . LM: That is my free will. Can I say no or can I say yes? JS: Ok. Thank you. LM: I said no, I do not want to address it. Thank you. JS: You want to talk about race when you get thrown out of Pitt . . .Philadelphia. inaudible LM: Thank you. Thank you. Someone asks another question. Something inaudible. LM: Take it easy buddy. Other reporter continues to ask questions Something inaudible LM: See you Jerry. As an aside, Sal C tweeted a photo of LeSean and the two star athletes Jerry Sullivan and Sal M. https://twitter.com/SalSports/status/778659174045528064 P.S. For perspective, it is important to note that Sully's buddy Bucky wrote a column (before all the facts came out) arguing that the Bills should have cut LeSean right then and there. It is clear to me given this history and listening to Sullivan ask questions in many PCs through the years that Sully was trying to push buttons to get a reaction out of LeSean . . . a reaction that Sully no doubt would use in a negative fashion against him. LeSean did not take the bait and Sully did not seem happy about that at all. -
You are correct. There is nothing factual about Sullen's columns. They are more rants (really, just repeated rants that are pre-prepared). P.S. Every time I see the heading "God Bless Sully" - it reminds me that it is likely that the only time I will ever think to ask God to bless Sully is when he goes to the great whinge factory in the sky . . . . In the meantime, God, please bless Sully's family, colleagues, friends (if he has one other than Bucky), and those of us who read his columns or hear his voice at a press conference . . . .

Jim Schwartz defenses doing Jim Schwartz things
Peter replied to dezertbill's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Short summary: I became interested way back when I met my wife. She is Dutch. The Dutch had one of the world's best players at the time - Dennis Bergkamp. He played for Arsenal, and I have followed them ever since. I have been to a few games. The atmosphere is outstanding. Also, now is the best time ever to follow an English Premier League team in the U.S. given that every team's games are either on one of the NBC channels or streamed on their app. Being an Arsenal supporter is a bit like being a Buffalo Bills/Sabres supporter - there is pain and it demands a lot of loyalty over a long period of time. -

I just want to give the guy a chance. 18 games - especially with the injuries we have had - is not a fair amount of time to evaluate someone. Just my two cents -

Wenger Out Brigade - those who crusade against Arsenal's manager (Arsene Wenger) - the equivalent of those who seem to make it their life's work here and in the media to crusade against Rex. Famous WOB - Piers Morgan. -

Arsene and Rex have two very different personalities. I appreciate and defend both in response to the constant crusading of those wanting to get rid of both - one after so many loyal years to the club and the other after only 18 games and many injuries. I am loyal to a fault. Go Bills! COYG! -

You mean the games where they had comparable QBs . . . . P.S. Question: Are you a WOB? If so, that would explain a lot.
