  1. o Except that those are not the facts. They missed the first bus. There was a second bus but they wanted to get to the stadium earlier than the second bus would get there.
  2. The Bills have two buses. He missed first one. Rather than waiting for second, it appears he and ZB decided to take Uber and have huge smiles on their faces in video. Oh no. The horror . . . . Who is going to be held responsible?!? Much ado about nothing.
  3. I think it is funny, but I suppose the haters are going to hate (and take over this thread).
  4. Let's split hairs. That will be fun.
  5. I really hope the NFL does the right thing and exercises its discretion to reverse the reported suspension.
  6. This situation presents an excellent opportunity for the NFL to show that it can see the forest from the trees . . . as well as demonstrate that it has some humanity for a guy who should be congratulated rather than suspended by the NFL.
  7. Schefter reports that it is related to his treatment. If that is the case, how can he be suspended . . . .
  8. Really? I thought it was both very funny and showed how ridiculous people can be when they tweet (or, as here, post) behind a keyboard. I thought it was funny here and when Jimmy Kimmel does it on his show. It also showed that the guys who participated in this from the Bills were good sports about it. I guess humor (like beauty) is in the eye of the beholder. Just my two cents.
  9. Curious. As I seem to recall in that game in particular, Brady was getting rid of the ball in a ridiculously short amount of time. I forgot what the average amount of time was and am too lazy right now to try to look it up. It was a very short amount of time though. Nevertheless, where a QB is forced or intends to get rid of the ball very, very quickly, there is little a defense can do about that. Moreover, given that the goal of a pass rush is to pressure the QB into throwing the ball quickly or risk getting sacked, in a very real sense, this aspect of the defense succeeded where the QB (Brady here) is forced to get rid of the ball quickly. What happens after that is a separate issue. Just my two cents.
  10. Really? The Bills dicked him over by paying him more money than any other player in the history of the franchise and he decided to go on strike? Hmmm. Poor Mario.
  11. As I mentioned in another post, the rumblings down here in Miami are not exactly glowing. We shall see which Mario shows up for the Dolphins . . . or should I say which Mario decides to show up . . . .
  12. Actually, Pavlov or not, one inevitably would reach this conclusion. Many posts here remind me of the "mean tweets" and sports talk callers . . . .
  13. That was very funny. Thanks for posting.
  14. I was once among Mario's biggest defenders. No longer. The guy embarrassed himself. I do not know whether he will actually try this year, but some of the rumblings down here in Miami do not reflect well on Mario. In the end, I think the Bills could get someone off the street to replace Mario's 16 tackles (or whatever it was last year).
  15. Right now, I think Chad would be bad for my blood pressure if he were the Bills QB.
  16. I thought that was funny as well.
  17. Heard among Buffalo media and certain posters on TBD: "This has got to be Doug and Rex's fault." "When is someone at One Bills Drive going to be held accountable?"
  18. This is a reflection of the fact that there are fewer and fewer decent QBs and even fewer elite NFL QBs.
  19. My theory is that he got picked on by people more successful in life (sports, business, journalism, life), and this his way of trying to get back.
  20. Sully may have given "some thought" the first time he wrote a version of this article. He and Bucky have a vendetta (or so it seems) against the Pegulas. When I read anything either write about them, I read through the "glasses" of Sully claiming our billionaire owner was lucky in business and Bucky's misogynist rants about Kim. Except in rare instances (like when Sully writes about the Olympics or that Buffalo girl who died in the balloon accident), Sully has been phoning it in and writing (slightly different versions of) the same article for the past several years. Both Sully and Bucky have a narrative and pretty much everything they write seems to be designed to fit that narrative. Given their (and some other's) negativity, I also find it humorous how thin their skin is. P.S. My prior post was not a comment on you but rather a comment on Sully (as set forth above).
  21. You lost me at "well thought out points."
