  1. BREAKING NEWS: People have differences of opinion on politics Does that mean that such differences have negatively effected the team as a team or that there is a civil war taking place within the team? No. The evidence amply demonstrates otherwise. P.S. Another poster brought up something I forgot to mention: Attendance on victory Monday.
  2. It does. Why? Because it is using a quote (true, false, out of context, or not) to push a narrative that is obviously FALSE.
  3. I know people have made up the story that Rex will get fired if the Bills do not make the playoffs (by itself). As to your specific question, I have no idea. People in all walks of life have differences of opinion on politics. My views are different from my wife and Mom for example. Does that mean I am getting a divorce or disowning my Mom? No! People in locker rooms in the NFL come from all walks of life and have differences of opinion on all sorts of subjects. This does NOT mean that any writer or person here can jump to the conclusion that the locker room is divided and there is some sort of civil war going on within the team because Rex introduced Trump at a speech. The proof of the pie is in the eating. How did the players respond when the team was 0-2 and the vultures were circling the team and Rex and the narrative was whether Rex would get fired now or later? Whom did Rex elevate to offensive coordinator? Who is Rex's D coordinator? Which QB did Rex want the team to go out and get before last season? Which QB did Rex pick as starter? The whole story is BS in the narrative that it is trying to push.
  4. This makes no sense at all. This is another attempt by certain members of the media to use Rex for clicks. Whatever one may think about Rex or politics, the players (other than Mario and the former TE for the Jets) love playing for Rex. Period. If you have any question about that, watch the video that was posted the other day from the NFL network where LT and Deon Sanders where talking about Rex. Ask Anthony Lynn what he thinks about Rex's treatment of people? Dennis Thurman? Tyrod Taylor?
  5. The refs have been giving Buffalo sports teams the business ever since I could remember.
  6. Are we allowed to take anything relating to the Bills as a big positive? I was under the impression that when it comes to Rex, Marcell, or the Bills in general we have to be negative and the glass is half empty at best.
  7. This subject matter is being currently being discussed or has already been discussed in previous threads too numerous to count by posters who ironically make it their mission in life to repeatedly post that someone else is a blow hard. Please consider using the "search" function before starting new topics. Thank you.
  8. Life coach. I always thought that was funny. Little Johnny, what do you want to be when you grow up . . . a policeman? A fire fighter? A doctor? Little Johnny: No, I want to be a life coach.
  9. A guy plays well enough to be defensive player of the week . . . and people complain . . . .
  10. I laughed out loud after reading the first sentence . . . and your statement has a lot of truth to it.
  11. September was the 30th anniversary of my Dad's passing. I would give any material thing I have to have been able to have him with us these past 30 years. But, hey, that's just me. Carry on. P.S. I still go to work every day. P.P.S. I certainly have made mistakes in my life.
  12. I wonder. I wonder how many of the keyboard jockeys that are critical of Marcell (including Sully) have had each of the following happen to them: 1) Dad died when Marcell was six years old. 2) Mom died when Marcell was 20 years old (he is now without any parent). 3) Brother was shot and killed in a triple murder. 4) Close friend dies of cancer at 26. By all accounts, Marcell is a great guy and his teammates love him. He made some mistakes He has paid for those mistakes (and lost millions of dollars doing so). Carry on . . . .
  13. One of the things that Richie said in the interview that bears repeating: Each of the players has Rex's back.
  14. Whether this is true (I suspect it will not be over time), I am very thankful that the Pegulas were around to buy the team. Let's presume that the premise of the original post is true - that is all the more reason to be thankful for the Pegulas. This is why I will never understand some of the gratuitous shots that Sully and Bucky take.
  15. Amendola would have been right behind M. Bennett no doubt.
  16. This makes sense to me. Regarding Alexander, we need him to be fresh (or fresh enough) for special teams. Regarding Shaq, this will work out well for him as well given that it will make his transition to the NFL easier and he presumably will not get worn out at the end of the year as some rookies do. I am excited about the defense. It is good now and should be great when we have all of our pieces available. Comparing last year and this year has underscored just how important both Aaron and Kyle Williams are to the defense.
  17. I laughed . . . out loud.
  18. I was surprised that the Jets let him go after just one year.
  19. Mularkey pulled a Marrone before it was even fashionable.
  20. His son is an assistant with the Bills, isn't he?
  21. Rex needs to start being more disciplined and not so much of a loud mouth. Rex could learn a thing or two from Schwartzy.
  22. Sadly: The Pats are a great team with a HOF coach and QB until they are not . . . .
  23. I know they will try - that is for sure. I remember the year after Spygate. They tried to destroy everyone and pile on the points like when teams such as Ohio State play the little sisters of the poor. I remember the Pats playing the Bills in a nationally televised night game when Belichick was going for it on fourth down in his own side of the field even though they were way up and he left Brady in the game until about a minute or so left -- again even though the Pats were WAY up and destroying us. I fully expect that they will try to humiliate us when they play us in Buffalo. I am not going to predict who will win or lose, but I think it will be a great game.
  24. As a Bills fan, I am both surprised and pleased that they game was called the way it was.
